Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was customized as per the latest industry trends. Marketing management was my major. In addition to that, we also studied Digital marketing which is an emerging and futuristic field of marketing. We studied the principles of marketing, online advertising, partner management, campaign management, etc. It was a pretty informative and insightful program.
Placement Experience
Some of the major recruiters from our college include big brands like KPMG, Deloitte, TCS, Gartner, Mother Dairy, etc. visited the campus to recruit students for a number of profiles. The packages offered are also pretty decent. We also received assistance for the summer Internship process.
College Events
Many youth festivals and inter-college tournaments are organized in our institute. Being an institute with cultural diversity, there were a lot of activities happening throughout the year. Firande Elysium was our annual fest while the International youth festival was another similar event that featured different artistic performances.
Fee Structure And Facilities
For the first year, I paid INR 620,000 which included security deposit, tuition fee, and GST charges. The fee was to be paid on a semester-wise basis. My total course fee was INR 12 lacs for the two-year masters program.
Campus Life
Inter CDC sports meet is usually organized by the Dauntless club which is responsible for all the sports-related activities in the college. Similarly, there were Finance clubs, a marketing club, a literature club, an art club, etc. who are responsible for different activities respectively. We attended innumerable seminars, guest lectures. Campus life was pretty awesome in general and we got to work on live projects which helped us have the first-hand experience. Students were there from different backgrounds, both financial and cultural.
Admission
Our institute conducts its own entrance exam in order to grant admission to the postgraduate programs. I appeared for the SNAP entrance exam and ultimately got shortlisted for the next round. The counseling round was followed by a written ability test, group discussion, and Personal Interview. After successfully clearing all these exams I presented all my documents and paid the fee.
Faculty
The faculty was pretty supportive and experienced. They all had a relevant amount of the first-hand experience in marketing and sales. Even our learning was mostly via practicals, working on live campaigns. We shared a pretty deep bond with them and I am still in touch with them. Their constructive criticism was really helpful in shaping our mindset for good.
