My College Review

My journey with the GLBIMR college was pretty great and filled with a lot of roller coaster routines. For one, I had a lot of fun having a clear understanding of the curriculum was another. We learned something new everyday, while ensuring a subtle campus life without pushing us into a disarray of hastyness.

Curriculum was prescribed by the AKTU university and offered a perfect blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. We learned a lot from the curriculum, but specifically it was the practicality of the curriculum which made us industry ready. PPt presentations, case study analysis prepared us for the future jobs.

Almost 70% students got placed three months before the final examination. Companies started appearing for the on-campus placements during the end of three semesters and recruit students for a number of profile. The lowest package offered was around 2.8 LPA while the highest went as high as 9 LPA.

Throughout the year celebrations like events like Lohri celebrations, republic celebration, yoga session and what not. Alumni talk series, freshers party and farewell party were some of the other fun infused events celebrated right here in the campus.

My first year fee was around 2.9 lacs, which included registration charges, tuition fee, examination fee, caution deposit, etc. While for the second year I paid around 2.85 lacs. In total, I paid 5.75 lacs for the two year course, which was pretty feasible for me personally.

Accommodation facilities are provided are on the basis of first come first serve. Separate boys and girls hostel are available within the campus premises. Facilities provided by the college were top-notch and it was a full blown value for money deal. Gyeser facility during winters and AC facility during the summers were some of the major features provided by the campus.

I got admission on the basis of my MAT exam scores. I downloaded the application form and submitted at the administration department after filling out all details including my class 12 marks, graduation marks, MAT exam scores, etc. The entire admission process was pretty hectic. The GDPI round was pretty intense, after that it was pretty straightforward.
