Remarks

My journey in this college was happening, as I learned and explored a lot of new things from this place. Apart from this, the college and the program made me look forward to my career as well as towards my professional growth.

Placement Experience

The placement and internship cell of the college was amazing. As I was getting training and interview session to get prepared for real interviews and jobs. Companies like HCL, HP, and OYO were invited by the college for recruitment purposes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For the commencement of the MBA program the fee amount was paid in 4 installments. Per installment, I paid Rs 3,42,500/-. The fee structure was fine and affordable. As with this much amount I availed every good and intellectual thing as well as explored good and new things.

Campus Life

Here the classrooms were good and spacious. Along with this, we also had a proper library system with so many books and e-journals which helped us to maintain notes and fetch research papers. Apart from this, we were given the opportunity to interact with many industries and organizations.

Hostel Facilities

I availed for the hostel accommodation because I wanted to save my time as well as my money. Hence, during the time of admission, I paid Rs 31,200/- as the first installment. Apparently, I paid Rs 31,200 as my 2nd installment. The place was good as well as safe.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni section of the college worked brilliantly for all of us. Although we have completed our academics, I still receive updates and notifications regarding the events and seminars. Moreover, with the help of alumni meet and greet I am able to reconnect with my friends, classmates and even seniors.

Admission

I was interested in pursuing an MBA program, Hence, I gave this SNAP test which is under the university protocol and the test is conducting this exam. Along with this, I gave this Group discussion followed by a Personal Interview and finally a Written ability test which was mandatory to give, in order to get admission in this college.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. SIMS, Pune: A good option for MBA Finance!

Like all other colleges under Symbiosis University, SIMS too, requires clearing the cut off of the SNAP entrance exam. The cut off is usually 92 percentile. After getting shortlisted for the same, there is a GD, WAT, PI round, where in the further competencies of the candidate is tested. The WAT topics are like complete the story kind, GD topics (if conducted) are mostly from current affairs, and the interview questions are usually about one's personality and self, with few academic questions as well. Life at SIMS

I have applied for 3 colleges under the SYMBIOSIS umbrella namely SIBM, Pune SIMS,Pune SCHMRD, Pune. In SIMS Pune i got admission through the defense quota. If we talk about the criteria of college First you have to give a snap exam after that if you are in the cut-off list then you are invited for GDPI Round which is a very fun loving and learning experience for me. The academic criteria for SIMS is at least 50% marks in graduation and not particular about age.
