My College Review

The course curriculum was pretty great. It was customized so as to match the pace with the rapidly growing corporate sector of India. College creates its own curriculum and the entire course is divided into four semesters with 9 subjects per semester. In addition to that, we studied some additional elective subjects like one foreign language which was french, behavioral science, etc. Overall the curriculum was very informative, especially in terms of adapting it for the benefit of the society.

Placements are pretty decent in our college. Our placement works hard in order to maintain a close tie-up with many big brands. They will invite these corporate representatives for on-campus placements and internships. In addition to that, dedicated personality development sessions and mock interview sessions are also organized in the campus in order to psychologically prepare students for the placement process. The highest package secured by a student of our branch was around 9 LPA, while the average package was 4 LPA.

Events are very joyfully celebrated in our college. Youth Fest is the main annual fest organized by the college which lasts for three days. Numerous cultural performances, celebrity performances, ramp walk, quiz competitions, and many more fun activities take place right here in the college. Our college believes in the celebration of life.

My first-year fee was around 1,43,000 lacs which was to be paid on a semester-wise basis. While our second-year fee was 1.25 lacs. In total, I paid 2.69 lacs for the MBA program. Our college is one of the best private colleges in India and the fee which seemed hefty in the beginning seemed pretty reasonable at the end of the course when almost all of us had a decent job offer in our hand.

Numerous scholarships are offered by our University. Merit-based Scholarship account for the students with an excellent academic record. TATA Memorial Scholarship and AGIF Scholarship are some of these scholarships. Students have to apply during the time of admissions and stand a chance of a fee relaxation, as much as 80-100 %.

Admissions to the MBA program are granted on the basis of entrance exam scores. I downloaded the application from the official website and submitted the form in the department itself. I had scored 88 %ile in m CAT exam and my overall academic performance was good. After that, I was invited for the counseling round which consisted of group activity and an interview round. The interview was very strict and grilling, but eventually, it all went well.

All of our faculty members were adequately qualified and had a corporate experience of at least 10+ years. We shared a very profound bond with them and they all were very keen towards guiding us in the right direction. They try to infuse innovation amongst us and would constantly push us towards entrepreneurship.
