My College

My opinion about this college is that college staff/management is very helpful.

The curriculum is designed as per the Pune University. In this institute, practical work is encouraged a lot so that student can grasp the theories easily. The course curriculum is according to the Industrial requirements and thus industrial visits are arranged every semester for specific subjects. Institute also arranges extra courses like CNC Programming, Robotics, Japanese language course, etc.

Placement of our institute is good. Companies like Tata, Kirloskar, Bharat forge, Infosys, Wipro etc. have visited the campus for recruitment and a good percentage of students have been placed. For placement, the company conducts aptitude test, group discussion, personal and technical interviews and institute arranges classes like LSL classes, Aptitude classes. Mock test sessions are also arranged for the students.

Our department conducts several National level Technical and cultural events. In these events, Zeal drag is the main centre of attraction, it's a GO Karting competition in which several colleges from a different region of India participate. Robo war is also an event which is held at the national level. In this event, students build their own robot to compete in the battle.

Fee for this program is around 95000 Rs per year. Modes of payment are through online banking, cash, DD, cheque, etc. Students can also pay these fees by instalments. Students are given a specific amount of time to pay the fees as per their condition.

As per the government policy, the college offers scholarship to eligible candidates. Eligibility criteria of the scholarship depend on the cast of student and on the type of seat alloyed to the student during admission. 79 percent student gets the benefit of scholarship.

Most girls don't prefer Mechanical branch, so the ratio of girls is less than boys. Every department has well-equipped labs. In our campus, sports section is available in which several types of games are played like Basket Ball, Football, Cricket, etc. Gym facility is also there.

Our department arranges lecture by alumni on each weekend and they share their work experience and knowledge.

I was a diploma student. After that through DTE process. I got direct admission in the second year. I got to know about the institute through my seniors who took admission in this institute, they told me about the facilities provided by the institute and I had also read much news about this institute. The process of admission starts in the month of July.

As I am pursuing my UG course in the Mechanical Department. In my department, the number of faculties is around 48 and the average age of them is approx. 32-45, all of them are MTech holders while some of the faculties even hold PhD. The staff clears all the doubts on the spot itself in the lecture hall as well as duty practical sessions. Besides this, some of our staff have certification in industrial work.
