BFIT college review

In the overall experience, I must say college building, atmosphere, faculty knowledge and college non-teaching staff as well, are the best. College is managed properly with new equipment and every other day or monthly, all faculty member of the different department come together to add new course of anything which need an update, get discussed and executed instant. College does consider the words of students as well. I got to experience this during rangreeza event. All of BFIT was excited to be the part of auspicious occasion seniors considering junior views and faculty understanding and making us effectuate our talents in front of the college. I must say, college coming together united for just an occasion to become it successful was indeed expendable.

In B. A in English BFIT do conduct writing session and we have a club as well, In this, they do consider all about future aspect hold in English and writing such as for newspaper editor, journalism, professional email writing with the latest trend. Content for advertisement and all visual communication we make through social media such as posters, labels, slogans, brochure, business proposal, presentation, flyer, resume, newsletter, media kit. Which is quite beneficial because it tends to make us recognize our attribute, to look at broader picture for future career to choose. With this workshop itself, I chose to work in advertising. There are many other extra-curricular activities as well, in September BFIT organize rangreeza. There are other activities as well, the most compulsory and yet the most amusement of all freshers and farewell. Techno Jashan, an exhibition all these help us evolve creatively.

I have not applied for a placement, because I wanted to study further. But I know, many of my friends got their placement good reputed media offices as news content strategist, articles and blogs writer. Some of the friends went to study master and opened their own content writing agency. Which is intriguing. In most of the courses, they provide internship as well, to which I did my internship in just dial in marketing team under advertisement and online content.

Events conducted by BFIT is like a festival and every other month they are always events. Being it an event for: 1. Art Exhibition, in this participant, comes together to depict their view about certain topic creatively, either through poster making, poem recitation, face painting rangoli making etc. 2. Music and Dance Events: In this, dance lover showcases their talent either through fusion dance or classical for events such as in independence day, students show the braveheart storey through dance. 3. Theatre and Nukad Nattak in this, as we all know they depict a story of real-life issues in order to help common people understand.

It is feasible, I mean. Only in government colleges fees cost less, but in private colleges or universities, they take far more even for small services, they charge extra. My parents and I have made the right decision choosing BFIT. BFIT do their best, the fee they ask for is feasible I mean, look at the brighter picture, the amount they take it does show the amount used in terms for looking after the infrastructure, teachers and non-teaching staff. The money taken can be seen, teachers are best, non-teaching take care for you.

I have not opted for the scholarship but I do know, they have a scholarship for Dehradun local, on a merit basis. On the basis of an entrance exam. Scholarship based on early admission and sports scholarship. One of my friends has applied for a scholarship and she did not face any problem for the same. Which is nice.

Campus life with friends and classmate is one thing no one will forget. The initial thing from attending lecturers to completing assignments, taking part in events and seminars. And most of all our antagonist exams has its own spirt. I believe the campus of BFIT is quite simple than other colleges in Dehradun.

Yes! seniors do help you a lot, whether being about class schedule, notes or books. They do consider us as equal and aiding us with their experience. Earlier I was a bit sceptical that there might be a chance for a student ragging, but to my surprise, seniors do not believe in such things and the college itself has a strict law about this, if any student found doing illegal or ragging college take action for student to get suspended permanently. Which is good.

Well! I choose BFIT for B.A in English, for that, I was supposed to give entrance exam, to which I scored 80, later, even though I was confused about the college and future endeavours. Faculty and counselling session in BFIT was commendable, they not only cleared all my doubts but made me feel comfortable about my choice, and made me look broader towards a future career. Due to that counselling session, it had made me ambitious to conquer my talent and choose the right path.

My mentor is amazing, she used to teach us with composure and feisty mind. Seriously, I am imbued with her aura. The knowledge she contained is not seen in any other faculty member (Maybe I adored her so much) Her words to us was always to read, as much as we can. Be it outdoor hoarding boards, to novels and of course our coursebooks.
