College review - [IIT BHU], Varanasi

Life at an IIT is really awesome it gives you all opportunities to grow up your interest in any field. Doors to all are open and our college helps us a lot in this we have a strong training and placement cell which arranges all companies to visit our college. A negative remark is that our campus is open to all so you may notice a cow walking as your partner inroads.

The course curriculum is well designed for students' all-around development. There is no pressure if one goes according to the curriculum planned. We all feel exams are hectic but if one works according to the decided curriculum it becomes a layman task. The course includes physical education and human values too which makes students real citizens.

Placements are really nice last year 100 percentage students were placed with an average annual package of about 8 lakhs. For branches like CSE and ECE average package stands as high as 20 LPA. Yes, we do get intern opportunities too. More than 80 percent of students get an intern last session average stipend was 60k with max stipend as high as 2 lakhs.

There are mainly three events in our collection Kashi yatra, spardha, technex which are socio-cultural fest, sports fest, and technical fest of our college respectively. These are World-class fest with guests from very renowned and high posts visiting beside this there are many workshops of various companies.

Fee Structure is completely fair is less than what college spends on a student fee is about 2 LPA for students having annual income greater than 5 lakh for students having annual income less than 1 lakh fee is negligible.

Students easily get loans as they are IITIAN'S. Banks visit hostel's frequently and ask if anyone needs a loan it is easily provided. Students do not need to have many docs for availing of loans it's an absolutely easy process here. Various scholarships too are provided.

Labs have many sophisticated instruments for practicals. Students come to learn a lot through this. Besides this, we also have an incubation center for ideas to get converted into realities. All sports are available with well-maintained grounds, every game has specific trainers to teach students to play.

Hostel infrastructure is really nice and the fee is very low. Mess here offers great food at a negotiable price. Students enjoy world-class hostel facilities at negligible prices. Hostels have a 24×7 water supply and various required things are also there.

Pura alumni network is very wide. As college is of 100 years now we have our alumnus at almost every renowned companies, sector and they are very helpful too. Senior treat junior as their own brother campus is totally ragging free. Alumnus provides various scholarships too to students.

Students have to appear for JEE mains at first which acts as a screening exam. Out of about 10 lakh students appearing 2 lakhs approx qualify JEE mains and are eligible to write JEE advanced. Students getting top rank in JEE advanced get to select their college which is allocated according to their merits. B. tech at an IIT has always students dream to pursue. I too was fascinated by IIT. So I chose JEE and further B. Tech.

Faculty are really well qualified they do their job nicely. They have been through many projects and they share their experience too while teaching students to get to reap a lot of benefits from them. Faculties here are Highly experienced in their subject. If one focuses in class his all concepts would be clear.
