AIEEE. I chose this course as it was my ambition to become an engineer and excel in the telecom industry.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship in Bharti Airtel Limited in Chandigarh. I worked in Switch department(Networks). The culture there was very professional. Learnt corporate way-hows being there for 6 months under so many expert professionals.

Placement Experience

Placements and job opportunities provided by Chandigarh Engineering college Landran are way too good. The on campus placement drives organized by CGC are the best in whole Punjab. A student gets to choose his/her stream related company at an ease being a part of this college. I myself got placed in Vodafone through this placement drive in 2010.

College Events

This college organises many fests every year such as Parivartan. Gets to meet other stream fellow, songs, dance competition, well renowned singers get to appear on stage. Toppers from all streams get awarded from highly esteemed personalities such as Kiran Bedi in such fests and events.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had scored first in PTU University in the 7th semester of ECE 2010 batch and got awarded for that.

Campus Life

The campus life is very cool The gender ratio is balanced and equality is there in all terms, be it extracurricular activities, be it debate, group discussions, the boys and girls take equal part in all activities and excel together.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are very nice and tidy and facilities inside the hostels are always upto mark. The washrooms are clean, the water, electricity is always in abundance and the hostel wardens are very friendly and makes the hostels feel like home in all sorts.

The alumni network is now expanding and especially the batches before 2011 are extremely supportive and are still in touch with college and faculty. The senior students are all well placed in huge companies and in living in different parts of the World yet the affection of being in touch this college is always their in their hearts.

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum.
