The institute is 100 years old so obviously infrastructure falls short at some places and also administration is old. But that aside IIT has a great environment with the top students of India joining every year
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is vast and relevant. Students are taught all the required subjects for the department. And the Institute follows semester pattern, with two exams in a semester the mid sem and the end sem, along with quizzes and labs etc
Placement Experience
Placements at IIT BHU are one of the best in the country, with each year setting a new record. Institute has a compulsory internship policy for every student in the semester break between 3rd and 4th year. Handsome stipends are offered to the students by top tier companies.
College Events
IIT hosts 3 main fests viz. Spardha,Kashiyatra and Technex. Spardha is the annual sports fest of IIT BHU Kashiyatra is the cultural festival And Technex is the techno management fest of IIT BHU All these fests get great amount of response from students of other colleges
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is similar to all other IITs There are scholarships for economically weak students and they are given fee concession. Apart from that students are to pay the hostel fees which isn't much either

Many Government Scholarships are given to students based on merit as well as economically weak students are provided with fee support, apart from this many banks provide hassle free education loan services to students of IIT BHU
Campus Life
IITs have all facilities included labs and all sports equipped grounds. And also much more is also under development. IITs don't lack in any kind of extracurricular activities with the institute participating in the Inter IIT competitions every year.

IIT BHU is a 100 year old institute and has a vast alumni network. It has alumni sitting at the top posts in all the parts of industries. And the senior junior interaction here is very healthy with the campus being ragging free
Admission
IIT Varanasi offers admission to its BTech and five year dual degree (BTech+MTech) programme through JEE Main and JEE advanced score followed by JoSAA counselling. Admission to BPharm course is conducted through JEE Main score.
Faculty
The faculty is well qualified and experienced. They have many researches going on and also doing some project under them is very helpful. Most of the faculty is at par with top institutions of the world.
