Remarks
Everything is positive about the college. There is no negative remark. I am still loving this college even though I am one of the alumni. The college has sea in front of it which is one the best environment around the college. a soothing and cool view.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is one of the renowned and best college. The best part is teachers are highly qualified and have a good amount of knowledge. The lab are well equipped and the college hours are too good. The exam hours depends upon the college and university.
Placement Experience
Our time there was no college provided internship. But I have do heard now they have made compulsory to do internship in order to get good placement which is a very good thing. Now internships are provided in the college also you can do from outside of the college.
College Events
Euphoria and crescendo were two events celebrated during our time. I dont know now it's the same or has changed. Euphoria was in the month of January and crescendo was in the month of August. Euphoria was non technical and crescendo was pure technical event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite expensive. You need to have financial strong background if you want to have admission in that college as it is one of the top college in Mumbai. Fee structure includes all the expenses covered within the college right from library till lab expenses.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there are lot of scholarship for minority people where you have to score good Mark's in academic to be able to qualify for scholarship. TFWS stands for tuition fee waiver scheme in which government pays the most of college fee if you have a poor financial background and good academic score and you are getting college in the merit list than you are one of the lucky person to be a part of this scholarship.
Campus Life
There are lot technical and non technical events happening college premise and out of premise. you can participate in those activities. You can get more certification by doing internship and lot of workshops in the college premise. there is no ragging. everyone is equal.
Hostel Facilities
No, I was not staying in the hostel. i had home in Mumbai. So I dont have any idea about hostel fees. but sure you can visit college and know regarding it. i dont know about it. but there are lot of people who have been passed out and who were staying in that hostel so you may get to know from them. also there is one boys hostel at Santa Cruz. So people who used to come from out of mumbai used to stat there rather than college hostel.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. there is frcrce alumni network. where you get to connect with lot of alumni people. this is one of the best way to get to to know each other. also you can have interaction with them about college, their life and lot of more. this will help you a lot.
Admission
I wanted to be software Engineer. I wanted to choose IT as I my career field so I got the admission in the college through minority merit list. Admission process is not that difficult. If you have all your documents ready it is easy.
Faculty
Faculty are friendly and need the work to be submitted on time. Right from assignment till lab work. So accordingly your timeline Mark's do not get deducted. Faculty do have a great knowledge regarding the required subject. if you have any doubt you can ask them.
