The Campus and the infrastructure is very good. The college is huge and spacious. The canteen is not so good. The library is small but has all necessary study material. The study hall is huge and is located in basement. The college people are friendly and chill out. The staff is average and only a few can actually teach all the hardwork has to be done by students. Huge parking area. Placement opportunities are ample.

The Course and Curriculum is quite good. It isn't easy though. In Pune University engineering is tough task to get through with flying colours. The syllabus is vast. My college started at 8am morning to 4pm or sometimes 5pm. The exam structure for first year was online exam which consisted only the first three units in syllabus. Total there are 6 units in all subjects. The online exam is now replaced with In- sem exam of 30 marks out of 100 total for one subject of each sem. The syllabus is same the first three units. Days are often hectic and tiring as we go through a lot of theory lectures. Practicals are just 2hrs a day.

The placement experience is very very good. As for particular Sinhgad institute mass recruitment takes place for companies like Accenture, Cognizant etc. All the students are well informed about the open campus drives too. But we have to prepare on our own for jobs and interview. Depending on college will leave you with no job. You on your own have to get prepared for interviews and placements. The college only provides opportunities. Internships are not a compulsary thing and college provides very less of internships however you can get internship on your own. The stipend are around 5k to 10k per month.

For technical events it is Sinhgad karandak which is the annual fest of Sinhgad institute and it takes place in every individual college in the name of techtonics. Cultural events and all happen under Sinhgad Karandak and its very huge. It is one of the best of Pune. Participation is very huge and prizes are in large sums. The Sinhgad Karandak carries out dance and singing competition inter and intra college level. EDM night is arranged at the last day and international DJ are called for performance.

The fee structure is very simple and no hidden charges. The fee is feasible and not too expensive as compared to other institutions. For my course of mechanical engineering the fee structure containing everything was around 80000 rupees. It included everything in it.

The best scholarship facility by college are the government scholarships only in the form of EBC and reservation. I apply for EBC every year and I get 40% concession on my whole fees. The EBC is applied by students from open category caste system of Indian Government and the annual income of the family should be below 800000.

The labs are very good. The sports and all cultural events happen once a year in the second semester the summer session of the college and happen under Sinhgad Karandak. The college has intra and inter college level competition in sports and many students participate in them. The labs have all the equipment and are very big and spacious. As much as 100- 200 students can fit in one lab. The quality of labs is very good.

I am not a hostel student. I am a day scholar but all I know is the college provides hostel facility for boys and girls at the main campus in vadgaon that is 10km away. The college provides transportation from hostel to the College campus. The hostel fees is around 40000 per year including the meals.

Yes, the seniors are very helpful and they guide you through the placement and academics. They share experiences and knowledge with us to let us know the current scenario of the market. They provide references to companies they work in. They bring new skill sets into light for better career options.

I got the admission in this college through CAP rounds and this college was shortlisted and alloted to me as per my CET score. The cutoff was average and my score was 75. I Choose the college as Sinhgad Institutes had a very good reputation in Pune. RMD Sinhgad had most seats for Mechanical engineering and many a people advised me to go for the same as it is the core branch.

The faculty in 2016 was much better in terms of teaching standard. But as the reputation of the college degraded due to some strikes and news flashes, new teachers are appointed now. Some of them have the skill of teaching but most of them lack the skill and only have knowledge but no idea to make students understand. Some teachers are just graduates and training for experience. May it be any good or bad teacher we have to study on our own as the syllabus is vast and time is less.
