About college life

This is an average college for the average student with average placement opportunity. There should be the uphill improvement in placements and faculty. The faculty is quite supportive. If you don't have any other option then get admission in this college.

The course structure is student friendly. It is designed in such a way that the student doesn't only get theoretical knowledge but also the practical knowledge which is most important for the student. In the laboratory all the instruments are available but they are old.

The events in our college are not celebrated in regular way i. e if we manage to organise cultural fest this year then there is no cultural fest next year. same rules applied on tech fest also. However we somehow manage to organise freshers for first year student.

This is a semI government college. So the fee for the BE course is not very high. student have to pay 27000 for each semester. It includes examination, library, sports, infrastructure etc fees. The hostel fee is 5400 for each semester.

This college helps students in getting education loan from different bank. But there is no any scholarship facility offered by the college for the student. Many student take loan by the bank for their study.

There is a big playground in the college campus where annual sports are conducted. Student play cricket, badminton, volleyball, football, basketball etc in this ground. every year Intercollege cricket League is also organised by the college.

There is two boys hostel for 2nd to 4th- year students. There is a hostel campus for 1st year, which is too far from college. There is also a girls' hostel under the campus. Wi- FI is not available in our college or hostel. You have to take your own private connection. Food served is quite good as compared to other food available in the outside market. Each year, there are strikes regarding food problems. The girls' hostel food is good in comparison to the boy's hostel.

Every year this college organise a sports for the alumni. the alumnI guide the student in the right direction in every thing. they helps in our placement, academics. They share their experience to the student.

First I appeared for WBJEE and according to the WBJEE Rank I got my counselling done and according to that I got my college and branch. During counselling they will ask you for all your concerned documents which you have to take it with you.

Teachers/faculty members of electronics and communication department are very supporting. They do not pressure you for anything. You can freely start preparation for any competitive exams. Students of this college generally do preparation of GATE SSC etc.
