Remarks

The college has a beautiful campus and perfect environment for studying. Hostellers are the most benefited as they do not need to travel whereas the localites need to travel as the college is far from main city.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are industry aligned & it offers MBA in total 11 specializations. Exams are conducted in december & may.while throughout the sem you will have to do assignments,projects,research work,etc for internals.

Placement Experience

The placements are average over here.The college does provide internship with majority of the students receiving stipend except the few. Internship is provided according to your specializations and not whichever internship available.

College Events

Urja and Ignite are the festivals which are conducted in the college. They are so big that majority of the colleges in Dehradun participate in it. Some celebrities are called for the festivals as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is comparatively high because of the quality being provided by the college. For 2 year MBA course, total fee is 12,36,000 excluding hostel fees. Hostel fee is 1,40,000 for each year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has tie ups with various banks like axis, HDFC, Oriental bank of commerce for providing loans to students. The loans are easily available with perceived benefits. Toppers from respective courses receive scholarship.

The college beleives in peace and harmony & is into almost every extra curricular activities be it any - music, design, sports, quizzes,etc. Tje college also has various cultural societies. There are almost as many girls as there are boys.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted for hostel facility within campus and hostel rooms are quite decent with only triple sharing option for boys and there are various options available for girls. Apart from the campus hostel there are various other hostels in the vicinity of the college.

Yes, they are very helpful and help us improve in the topic, field, etc in which one needs to improve as the industry demands. Many have even visited the campus again for recruiting students. They are always available if any help is required from their side.

Admission

You can give any of the All india level entrance exam & score more than 75 percentile for MBA. Apart from this the college conducts it's own entrance exam as well which is UPESNET. After clearing the entrance you need to take GD & PI.

All faculties come from prestigious backgrounds & have thorough knowledge about the subjects. They are always ready to help you if you have any query regarding any subject or understandings. Timely workshops are conducted for better understandings.

A peaceful college life,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was very good. The specialization which I chose was a very new concept and this university provides that particular specialization. The teaching methods were also very good with experienced teachers and weekly presentations also with different assignments.

Uttaranchal University is a gemstone!!

Placement Experience:

In digital marketing nearly 90% it the students are placed in top startup companies like the Boat, Minimalist and all who needs digital presence to sell their products. Jobs offered are of 50-80k a month and for MBA freshers this is a kind package.

Campus life

Placement Experience:

For masters student student from 3rd semester are eligible for the campus placement. For bachelor students from 6-7 semester students are eligible for the campus placement. Federal bank, taj hotel, Techmutant software solutions, cradlewise, patanjali, etc. many more companies are there which visit the campus. There is 60-70% criteria for students to get the placement as 60% are the eligibility criteria for many companies and some companies have 70% eligibility criteria for the placement. Our university has 85% placement in dehradun region as compared to other universities. My plans are taking a good job and work hard to become independent.

UPES MBA REVIEW (pov: a new student so no biases)

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is around 90%. Students become eligible for campus placements from the start of 3rd semester, although you can get in earlier through summer internship and ppos. Overall average package is around 8 lakh. Top 15% students get 14-17 lakh. Highest package for this year was 33 lakh. Many top companies like Amazon, Adani, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, BlueDart, Dell, Deloitte, Genpact and more come to the campus. I aim on getting into big 4 consulting firms.

Placement Experience:

i think from 3 rd semsester students are eligble for campus placements iam from 1 sem thats why i didnt eligble for that higest is like 20 lakhs and lowest is 3 lakhs per anam they show 90 percent but actually only 10 percent of students get placed i am planning to get a job ncr

Insights of the college through student eye

Placement Experience:

At the end of end semesters college started to get internship and their are a number of them of every type. Students should choose it of any kind. For placement companies started to come in collage in 3rd semesters and one should apply for placement. Till now many companies were there including 99acers, Arvind fasion, Wipro, Google and so on.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES has the best facilities!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
