You will learn how to manage, disciplines in life and also you will make good friends as well as life partner. Negative point is College is very far from the Kolkata. No PVR, fancy restaurant is there.
Course Curriculum Overview
College is comes under MAKAUT,West Bengal. All the course curriculum provided by the University. Some semester course are very good and some are moderate or boring but it is a part of engineering life. In this college attendence and exam is very strict. Labs gives you chilled but exam give hectic day. If you are avg student then also good for you.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities is moderate. Some Big MNC come and some startup. They also provide pool campusing. College didn't provide any internship. But you can do internship within 1.5 months from different company.
College Events
Biggest Cultural is always Technical fest known as Resonance and Cultural Fest known as Spandan. These are two major events. In Spandan, Many artist come from outside and also college student gets opportunities to show their skills.Apart from these two Sarswati Puja,Holi, Vishwakarma Puja,Diwali, Janamashtami e.t.c are also organised.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee are Fesible. Aprrox 40-45k per semester for only academic i.e for your college study and 25k -30k for mess charge per semester.There is centraless for Boys hostel and girls hostel. They take 10k as a caution money at the of admission which is refundable. 1200 for lan(internet) which is provided in your hostel which is very good.
Fees and Financial Aid
No such option is there provided by college. But you can take loan by any bank. Loan payment is accepted by the college. For every semester they provide the demand draft for the bank so that proper amount payed by the students.
Campus Life
Annual sports is organised many games are part of this. Departmental game is also organised in which cricket, football, volleyball, basketball are included.Workshops are also organised for different Technology. Cultural society is very good. In this college religion is doesn't matter every student lives with each other like a brother. Ans no gender biasness. Economic status is also good.
Hostel Facilities
I opted Hostel. For first 2 year you have no option to live single. You have live in sharing by 4 people. From 3 rd onwards you have option to live single or sharing.in 4th year only single room is there. Hostel cost is very minimal 500/month. In hostel lan facility is there. Water purifier, all time electricity. PG around the College is very minimal. But you can get the PG from 2k-4k in between.
Alumni/Alumna
My seniors are always inspired me. They help alot in sports and in placements also. they give their valuable experience to us to how they live the engineering life and professional life. There is a specific portal for alumni provided and By college email you can also connect.
Admission
I got the admission through WBJEE Exam. After the 3 rounds of counselling. My rank is not so good but i got this college. If you look the campus of college is very big. Admission process is very simple. In one day the entire process is done in very less time.
Faculty
All the faculties are very very good. Almost professor are M.Tech qualified and also some Phd. Every professor is very helpful to you in entire college life. just like local guardian. Professor are the great mentor in this college.
