Remarks

Everything is good but College needs to focus on learning more than anything. But it is quite upside down here. Placements are good but try to get companies who offer some better compensation.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Since it is an autonomous institution the courses and the quality of syllabus is good. But unfortunately the lectures lack the in teaching quality. They say that we are having industry based syllabus and all, but I found it myth. If you want to take advantage of these subjects, study on your own. They have all the infrastructure, but hardly accessible.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is good here. Most of the companies offer average to below average income. Only 1 or 2 companies offer compensation packege which is at par with the market standards. Most of the companies who offer are IT based firms. Unfortunately, there are no placements for the courses such as Civil, Mechanical, electrical. I managed to get a job in tech giant IBM but they offered very less compensation. And once you are placed, you are not allowed for any upcoming campus placement events.

College Events

4

This college is know for the extra curricular activities more than the curricular ones. There are lots of events going on throughout the year. If you are enthusiastic enough you can attend the technical events where you could learn few things. Cultural festival 'Antaragini' is well know in city among the colleges. There are lots of events to be attended in the cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college is little expensive if you are not availing any scholarships provided by goverment. There are no scholarships provided at the college level. You have to spend more than Rs. 1.2 Lacs per year for the low quality teaching. Also there is Rs. 5000/- caution money which they potrey as refundable but they never return in the name of Alumni Fund.

Fees and Financial Aid

I had opted for scholarship which is provided by the government. If you take the admission in college through some competetive examination, then you are eligible for the scholarship provided by goverment. There are various schedule for the different scholarship. I had availed Maharashtra govt. Scholarship for which the schedule starts after the month of August in the Acedemic year. The procedure was fully online and you just needed to submit the documents in-hand to the college facility.

Campus Life

3.5

If you consider the activities other than the curriculum ones, then there are lot of social activities arranged at the college level. There are lots of activities arranged in various technical and cultural fests throughout the year. Unfortunately, they don't give any farewell to their students. Lots of workshops are arranged for a nominal charge.

Hostel Facilities

2

No, I haven't opted for the hostel facility. Hostels are average with below average food. Most of them had complained related to food but they never listen to that. Even prisons would serve better quality food than these guys.

Alumni/Alumna

Few Alumni events are arranged for each passout batch. When it comes to synergy, there is some kind of biased attitude towards jounier Students.

Admission

Admission is merit based via 2 exams mainly, CET and JEE Mains. Also there is management Hindi lingual quota of 40%. If you have lots of money in bag go for management quota. But if you wanna avail the scholarships and allowances go for the merit based. All the procedure starts after month of May after the results are out of all the competitive exams.

Faculty

1.5

Frankly speaking, leacturers are not much here. Mostly they are the people who didn't got the job after their graduation so they persued MTech and teaching in college to earn some bucks. Most of them claim to have a PhD degree but when you compare knowledge, you would come to know the reality.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.

All faculty members are well-qualified and experienced. The course is very vast but the teaching faculty cover it through their extra lectures and practicals.
