Title is appropriate

Positive remarks are that fees is very feasible. Placements are very decent. Also strength of students is very controlled. Teachers are good. Only negative thing is that it lacks in good infrastructure structure although basics are covered.

Course structure is basically more of the things already discovered rather than being research oriented. Some subjects are research oriented. Exams and labs were appropriate. They were neither too frequent nor too chilled. In one semester, exams are held twice. Once, during mid of the session. They are called mid-terms and usually carry weightage of around 25%. Others at the end of semester and carry weightage of around 50%.

Placement and job opportunities are awesome. Our college do provide internships. We have our 6th sem dedicated to internship. In our college internship is of 6 months. Companies like Microsoft, arcesium, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, American express etc. visit our campus. They offer great stipend. Stipends range from 30k to 100k per month.

Many technical events are held in our college. Some societies like IEEE, robotics continuously hold their events and workshops. Participation is decent enough with cash prizes. Workshops are held and some outer organisation sponser it sometimes. One major cultural event held is pecfest. It is held once every year. It has Fallout in thousands. It is 3 day long event. Stars are also present.

Fee structure is very feasible compared to other colleges. One semester fees is around 60k which covers everything. Although it is being risen every year for upcoming students but that rise is very genuine.

Students whose family income is less are given full fee waiver. Only around 5k is taken from them. Also, students who are PWD category are given fee waiver. Each branch's topper is given full fee waiver every year.

Gender ratios are good according to engineering. It's around 5:1 but according to engineering it is good. We have cultural and technical societies that are decently active. Students from all over the country are there in our college. No politics is there in our college.

Hostel rooms are small and built years ago. They are very old hostels. But single rooms are given and rooms are painted regularly so they look nice. Some students are given rooms in sharing when rooms are less. In that case students are refunded approximately 7. 5k per semester.

We don't interact much with seniors. Only some seniors of our branch know us and we talk to them occasionally. Our institute's alumnI network is very strong though. Recently many alumnI meets were held in our college.

For B. Tech. one needs to give JEE mains exam held at national level. From there on, one needs to fill application form of Punjab Engineering College. After that according to merit, seats are alloted and students need to confirm their seats. Those who do not confirm their seat will be left out and then in the next round other individuals will be called.

I only know of Computer science faculty. Cse faculty is awesome as there are mostly young teacher's and they teach by taking pain. They focus more on practical knowledge and are chilled out. Some senior teacher's are also awesome though. We do not feel afraid while attending their classes or labs. They also inspire us to pursue something in which we excel.
