Not that bad but there is a lack of experience of city life in and around the campus In Kharagpur there is need of some good restaurants and good places to chill and hangout good food is needed to make our mood better

The course curriculum is the finest with focus in various fields say research entrepreneurship and with great job opportunities.The labs and exams are highly efficient with a structured and we'll designed curriculum.though lab days are hectic but overall enjoyment is there

The placement and jobs are well particularly settled with a committee set up to manage the placements and internships. There were all major companies including Amazon Google and various tech giants. The stipend ranged in between 25k-100k

There are various major Technical, Cultural, Management Festivals organised in the campus Kshitij being the Asia's largest techno management festival Springfest is the annual cultural fest of IIT Kharagpur they are seen with huge participants This year's spring fest included 20k+

It's expensive for middle class income families For students whose only one of parent works it's expensive since we have to pay 2,73,000 Rs It's hard for a middle class guy like me But there are loan options available

There is a loan scheme available there which helps us to pay the fees on time and we get to pay the fees after we get job in form of the Emis. There is no interest on amount till 5 yrs but then it's applied

There are various extracurricular activities of inter IIT and inter hall championships. The gender ratio is of6:4 And over 20 cultural and technical societies Who work effectively to make overall vibe in the campus with many ongoing activities

The hostel rooms are tripple sharing the hostel rooms are adequate and managed by hall management no pgs are there. There are well maintained different halls and total of 17 halls of residence are there.

The alumni network is very good with need seniors help at any moment and are very good to help us there compassion and good bonding in between seniors and juniors Yes the department change and other similar programs tend to be beneficial with senior interaction

I gave my jee advanced exam from which merit list was generated and my passion for economics encouraged me to choose this college.Also the alumni network of this college was good which made me in contact with various people to choose it

The faculty at par is best and highly motivated towards research and development of the course and institution.There passion derives students to be highly motivated. Though some times they might not be well to better explain, but as students we do it
