The management is good and works for the benefit of students.

The curriculum has subjects that covers different areas of finance, accountancy and economics. Apart from that in most of semesters you are given a choice to opt for 1-2 subjects as per your interest. The course is relevant and good. Obviously you'll not have practical knowledge but it definitely adds a value to yourself.

Placements are good. The main companies visiting campus are looking for Auditing and finance profile. Big 4 visits campus. Apart from this Bain, D.E. Shaw and few others come. there's an internship cell dedicated toward providing internship to the students of our college.

Annual fest of different societies, cross college competitions, intra society competitions are organised at regular intervals. The biggest competition is organised by the Commerce Association of our college which features a lot of competitions, games etc.

Very very reasonable and feasible? Since this is a govt? College, being a government college, the fees is in the lower side. It varies from 8-10k annually. Apart from this you have to pay exam fees around 600 twice in a year (each semester). So all in all your expenses for the year would be covered within 11k.

I never opted or felt the need as the fees is very minimal for the year. The maximum expense that I recall could be 11k for a year.

There are no attendance issues as compared to other colleges. Yes, you would need to attend college but skipping few classes won't do any harm. There are a lot of societies and they organize various events, competitions on regular intervals. Apart from that they are so many cross college competitions among DU colleges as well.

Seniors are super helpful. There's an association called Alumni Association of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College where they meet and try to organize some good workshops for the benefit of students of the college.

I opted for B.com (H). I wanted to pursue commerce and this degree has got the maximum scope per my understanding. The procedure to get admission is same as of any other DU college. You fill up DU form (central form) where you mention your area of interest. Once you are through with boards and have results in hand, you'll wait for cut offs that are announced by DU. Generally the process has 4-5 cutoffs. You look for your respective course and the cut off. If you beat it you can get your admission done in college. You'd be given a total of 3 days to take the admission after every cut off is released and the admission is NOT on first come first serve.if you beat the cutoff, college can't deny to give you admission.

The faculty for Commerce is good. I can't comment on other courses, but Bhagat Singh is known as a commerce college. Most of the teachers are knowledgeable and have a clarity on the subjects being taught. Also the best part is that you get free from college around 1-2 PM if you are from morning college.
