Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is decide by MAKAUT formely known as WBUT. Faculties in our college are nice and have very great knowledge in their subjects.

Internships Opportunities

Till now i didn't have any internship.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are good the packages are not high, students are placed at an average 3-4 lac per annum.Companies like TCS, Wipro IBM, deloit, cognizant, ashok leyland etc come here for recruitment.

We have college committee such as Anakhronos and Edge who conduct cultural and technical fest respectively. Last year Ash king, Raeth and DJ Harish gazed the glory of our fest and also this year we hope for some popular celebrities.

Scholarships by state goverment and bank loan are easliy available for our college.

Campus of techno india is not large but campus life is awesome. Gender ratio is diff for diff department as for in mechanical dep it is 3:145 and for BCA it is about 20:25.overall ratio is not less than normal.Students from different states are here mostly from wb, bihar, jharkhand.For sports we have our annual sports function. Students take parr in robotics and in fest like edge robotics competition is held.

Techno india has no hostel in its campus. private hostel are available outside campus which are recommended by our management.

Seniors are very helpful to us.there is no such kind of ragging or abusing for freshers.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
