My Review

Situated in the famous du north campus is a very calm and green environment to study. The infrastructure has developed over years. Library needs to be managed but is will surely be maintained once other on going things would be completed.

It is semesters based structure.3 years 6 semesters. The syllabi for each topic is very specific. Yet covering a no of topics. 4 hours of lab. 4-5 labs a week and classes 4 hours per subject per week.exams are easy and based on what is taught in class.

No botany is a theorical subject of placement at ug level is not possible. But other departments do have placement opportunities. Internships are given on medicinal botany if anyone is interested in the subject.

The exam fees and course fees has to be submitted separately. Being a government College it is not very expensive. My course fees is 17 000 approx per year. Exam fees depends upon the number of practicals and subject and need to be submitted every semester.

College does not provide any scholarships as such a.but does support inspire scholarships and other scholarships.all these are based on the merit of students and semester results. Also toppers get a 3000 rupees voucher for buying books related to their subject.

The College sports ground is huge and has areas for all type of sports. It also has a gym and medical room. A girls commoy room is also presents inside the campus. The labs are old but functional. Zoology department has best labs on campus. Botany department has 5 labs.

The seniors were always helpful to us. Also the lab staff was very helpful during experiments. Ramjas College has number of well renowned alumni such as Manoj bajpaiee and papon. The alumni of our College are also very supportive and are currently well off in there respective fields.

It was the 12 marks. Du admission are based upon merit. You are eligible for different courses based on subject s studied in 12.i chose botany due to my interest. I also had a option to opt zoology and microbiology.

The faculty is well qualified and very very helpful.they have years of experience and practice in there respective subjects.they are available during the office hours and are easily approachable in case of doubts.
