Placement and Job opportunities are quite improving with lots of companies like wipro,tcs are making there way to our college. Mahindra has became partner of our college( Just kidding) They visit regularly almost, to make their hands on our seniors & I feel jeolous of them sometimes. Now about internship, In Kolkata region, HETC is the third ranked college in Internshala. They also did a seminar in previous month. Also more than 100 of students have been hired in Internshala. Infact am also working as ISP( Internshala student partner) with Internshala. SWAYAM & NPTEL also make their way into the college, in Early 6 months. Hostel and PG's are well maintained and the warden here is very strict and disciplined. I opted for hostel in 1st year and then left it Because of some fooding problem. I didn't want to eat that hostel's Food which left me with stomach problems developing GERD( google it). But the hostel rooms are very clean and nicely maintained. With another advantages. Girls hostel is in the backyard of the college. so for the girls This is going to be a golden oppurtunity. Boys hostel are within 1km Range so, a bit trouble. But if you're fitness freak. You can definitely have your morning walk done.

Yes they are totally helpful. Ragging is not entertained by us. as we are always busy learning something new. Our seniors and alumnis always helps us in all the respect they can do. They help us to choose the right path. In my experience, I didn't knew about the PLC training for the electrical engineering But one of senior told me about PLC and told me it is mandatory in todays date. You cannot miss it as a electrical engineer. Secondly one my senior presently alumni, Always helped me with previous year question papers. So they are really helpful in every aspect. They help us with projects and also participate in all our functions

Yeah I got admission in this college in the Year 2017 & My classes started from the month of August. I cleared state JEE exam from there I got recommendation of Hooghly engineering and technology college. I get in this college by merit list of Class 12 examination and took Interview in the seminar hall and I got selected in this college.

Faculty of this college is Really really helpful. we travelled in the same route and we act like we are friends or brothers, Like they are my seniors who have passed out from this college.
