The College celebrates 3 festivals in an academic year, namely. Techvibes- A 3 day long technical and management fest the provides students to showcase their technical and management skills Vibrations- 3 day-long cultural event that brings a spark to the monotonous technical life we live on the campus. Cavorts- A 3-day sports event that relaxes the students from the daily routine and allows them to showcase their physical strength in various games and their mental capabilities while managing them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure of the scholar is not quite feasible. An average student has to pay some of around 1 lacs first semester in the BTech course these fees vary with the course. Kindly note that the College does not have hostel facilities and all the campus students in PGS or flats are available nearby. Labrador vs campus is quite reach there: four computer labs and four electronic labs, a mechanical workshop, and an electrical lab. The College provides gym facilities to the students along with the music room. The College has ample space for sports like volleyball badminton kho kho and cricket. Speaking on gender ratio the College boasts a great mixture of both genders the crowd here is the crowd is very nice and family against any kind of ragging activities. The college has a separate discipline committee that looks after the decorum of the College in ragging matters if any.
Hostel Facilities
The College does not provide any hostel facilities on campus, the students have to go for numerous paying guest options nearby, they are available at a range of 4000 to 8000 per month. Most of the pg are located at a distance of around 800 meters and students can easily walk to the College.
Alumni/Alumna
Bhilai institute, being one of the country's oldest institutes, boasts a great network of alumni that interact with the students under the umbrella of BITOSA. Students can ask for the guidance of the element anytime when they need teachers' day because a coordinator is present on campus. Even the alumina is good enough to share their experiences through webinars or workshops if possible.
Admission
The College takes admission based on JEE scores. Students can either directly apply to the campus or be advised to this campus by the main campus, if the desired branch is not available in the latter one. However, local applicants should apply directly as they are privileged with the home state quota so they may get the desired stream with ease.
Faculty
The faculty here is quite amazing, many of them have good industry experience and understanding. They give lectures, make you grasp them to the fullest, and try to bridge the gap between theory and industry.
