College infrastructure is beautiful, excellent,mind blowing, if you visit SDMCET,you will definitely fall in love with campus. Yes you can expect competition in each sport, the College has sports room where table tennis, boxing and corrom is played. Each department has its own lab and equipments,labs are the best explanation and experiment are done twice a week.

The College offers four-year (eight semesters) undergraduate degree course in engineering leading to Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in following branches. Chemical Engineering Civil Computer Science and Engineering Electrical and Electronics Electronics and Communication Information Science and Engineering Mechanical The College offers two-year (four semesters) graduate and postgraduate courses in the following specialisations: Computer-aided Design of Structures (Civil) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Digital Electronics (Electronics and Communication) Engineering Analysis and Design (Mechanical) Industrial Automation & Robotics (ME) Information Technology (ISE) Power System Engineering (E&E) The College has started an M.B.A. course.

The College has conducted placement activity for all its students. The College conducts training in aptitude and soft skill development for students in final and pre-final year for their placement. Though our College don't provide internship program from College,but they help us to get internships.and the internship will be included with around 5000rs to 10000rs per month.

The College's faculty is good enough to encourage each student to his/her goal. There are many employees for each department, the lab faculty is the best for our branch because every question is answerable to them.

For those who comes through enterence exam 45,000rs per year only College fees. For commed k students-1,00,000rs to 2,00,000rs per year only College fees Fees is not expensive compared to other Colleges present in the city ore in the Karnataka itself.

Scholarships are provided by government of Karnataka and India, through category wise ,I am not availed any loans by College. College does not avail any loan facility, fees must be paid online within deadline. And there are two scholarships currently available one as minority for students of socially and economically backward students and one as Vidyasiri for every student

Jnana Dhaare (Global Alumni Meet) : 22 and 23 December 2017. Insignia (A Techno-Cultural fest) is conducted every year in the month of March / April. During the fest, there are several technical and cultural competitions held. Also the grand evening is a live show by noted celebrities. Some such celebrities who have performed at Insignia are Aditi Singh Sharma, Darshan Raval, Siddharth Mahadevan etc. Insignia 2012 was graced by the presence of A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, The Missile Man of India. Fiesta (Intra-College Cultural Fest) is conducted every year in the month of October / November / December. During the fest, the students exhibit their talent in the fields of dance, music, instruments, skit, drama and other cultural activities. This helps in encouraging the students and helping them showcase these talents.

No,I am not opted for hostel. There are five hostels in the campus, three for boys and two for girls. Shalmala was the first hostel to be built and Narmada is the latest boys' hostel. Each department or branch has its own laboratories as required by the curriculum. Every department has its own computer centre apart from the centralised one. The library has books and journals on subjects taught in the College. There is an auditorium to conduct cultural and other events. The College has a play ground, canteen, a cafeteria joint, bank, an ATM and a post office within the campus.

My experience with College seniors is excellent and the cultural groups like,Antaranga,pratibimba etc are strong and from this clubs in the College makes seniors and juniors to exchange experience and seniors are most helpful in many problems.I am happy to mention that there is no ragging is entertained in the College. Notable alluminies are Aravind Bellad, M.L.A. and businessman Pravin Godkhindi, Noted Flute Artist Shirish Kunder, Bollywood director

Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology (also called SDMCET) is an autonomous private engineering College located in Dharwad in the state of Karnataka, India. It was established in 1979 and is affiliated under Visveswaraiah Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, Karnataka. The institution is approved by All India Coucnil for Technical Education (AICTE). The College is located at Dhavalagiri in Dharwad city.it stands one of the top engineering Colleges in Karnataka. In 2018 it was ranked as the 53rd best engineering College in India by Outlook. The Week (Indian magazine) has ranked Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College of Engineering and Technology as 67th among the best engineering Colleges in India for the year 2019.
