The college overall is excellent in terms of placement and internships but lack the cultural and extracurricular aspect of it which is really helpful when it comes to personality development in the college.

Course curriculum is a little out of date. Manual metal material working techniques are still taught in too much detail giving less importance to the newer techniques like CNC and less courses related to coding and computers.

The placement of NSUT is excellent. In terms of tech, there are over 50 companies which come to the campus for recruitment and the packages for tech are also pretty good. Non-tech still lags a little bit with only 2 out of Big 3 coming on campus. Most non-tech companies also offer places in the backend, which is considered to be less appealing.

The fest situation in NSUT is not particularly well. The societies aren't allowed to be freely operated by the college administration and the fest are very sub par quality due to lack of funds. Other JAC colleges have an edge in this aspect of college life.

Currently, the average tuition cost of the college is around ?6.5Lac for the 4 years. The fee is getting more and more in the last few years, and since it is now out of the DU umbrella, you can expect the fee to increase further more in the next few years.

The college currently offers only 1 known scholarship to the department rankers 1, 2 and 3 of each branch of fee waivers to certain extent for each branch. Apart from that the college does not offer any loan or scholarship facilities.

The extracurricular activities of the college are very sub par due to lack of support from the administration. The fest is not well managed and is not able to attract the big artists or crowd due to the same reason. The campus is friendly to people from any and every background.

The hostels are pretty decent with mostly well managed corridors and room. The rooms are of about 14 feet by 10 feet for the single room and about double of that for the shared 2 person room. The students usually get hostel in the later years of college whereas in the 1st year, you're expected to have a distance at least 25km from your permanent residence to college to get a room.

The alumni network of the college is pretty string with its students being in colleges like Harvard, Stanford, MIT and have also been involved in some major startups and senior corporate position in major tech and non tech firm. I've gotten a few referrals from my college seniors and it has turned out to be really helpful.

The admission process was through JAC i.e. Joint Admission Council which caters to students wanting admission in 4 colleges, namely : NSUT, DTU, IGDTUW, IIITD. After getting the scores of JEE mains, students fill their details on the JAC portal with their preference of choice for courses in these colleges which then gets allotted to you after multiple rounds.

The faculty for MPAE course in NSUT is a mixed bag. Some of the faculty are highly skilled and motivated to teach and arrange guest lectures, speaker session and also link students to internship in various fields of core.
