A very good thing is that we come under the PSG community, there will be a lot of opportunities even outside the college for us. PSG is a brand, Aluminus of our college is everywhere around the world. So it's pretty easy to contact people and have their support. The college management is excellent, they provide all the necessary things by hearing to the queries of students aka students union of our college who would represent the students. And there are no bad remarks as far as I know.

The course curriculum is vast and to be frank somethings are not necessary for us to learn. But overall to say, the course structure and plan is good for a student to learn. And when it comes to exams, the exams as of now are conducted by anna university, so this will be quite bad as of now. But when it comes to industrial point learning, our college has various labs for the enhancement of students. Any student can access these labs at any time with prior permission and information. There are no restrictions in this point. So yeah we have a lot of research activities in our college which would definitely help us in getting selected in campus placements. Yearly there will be atleast one industrial visit per class. There may be more than one depending on the willingness of the students. For us we had one but for other departments they might have 2,one in each semester. It would be pretty useful for the students to improve their subject and practical knowledge which would help in campus placements.

The placment of our college is good as when compared to other colleges. We have the same placment desk along with other PSG colleges. So it is very obvious that many companies come for recruitments and there is a high chance of getting placed in a good company as PSG has a great reputation among companies. The institution takes a lot of steps for offering a number of placment Training courses for over a year. We have 100 percent placement record every year for our course. The companies that visit our college are many core companies like Qualcom, Caterpillar, TCS etc.

There are five main events in our college. 1. Advaya ( Inter college festival) 2. Academia conclave ( By industrial Experts) 3. Yuktaha ( National Level Technical Symposium) 4. Sudeva ( Sports Day) 5. Dhaksha (Annual Day) 1. Advaya: It is an inter college festival. Students from our college participate in the events conducted and they will be showcasing their talents. No matter what, it is one of the beautiful events in the odd semester of that year. There will be a lot of programs for Advaya. It lasts for 2 days and hopefully it's a good event. 2. Academia Conclave It is a conclave conducted by the institution by calling various industrial experts to give a lecture or talk on their point if industrial experience and what they want from students. It lasts for one day with four sessions. It would be quite interesting. It will be in odd semester every year. 3. Yuktaha It is a national level Technical Symposium of our college. It lasts for two days. It will be in even semester every year around February. There will be students participating in the events from all over India. People from other colleges are invited and they will be having technical, non technical events. And moreover there will be a stunt show,pro show and many more exciting things that would happen that time. Hope you would know when you see them. 4. Sudeva Sudeva is our sports day. There will be relay races, 100m Dash and 200m dash. There will be a lot of sports events conducted on and before that day for which the prizes would be given to everyone of them. This is technically the sports day. 5. Dhaksha Dhaksha is our annual day. There will be many cultural events like dance, solondance group dance, music band, solo singing and much more stuffs like skit. Apart from these very big events there are events for festivals like Onam, Pongal, International women's day, Republic Day, Independence day.

My program fee is totally 4 lakhs for the course. There are two modes of payment. One is through Online Payment and other way is through Demand Draft in the name of the institution. The coehe provides Transparency in the fee breakdown by issuing the fee receipt with the allocated fundings to the students. The fees is feasible as well as expensive in my point of view. Its totally my opinion, actually for many students its feasible.

Yes, the college has offered scholarship opportunities to students. There is no eligibility criteria to avail scholarships but there will be an interview for those who want to avail the scholarships and yes they will select accordingly. And yes,I have availed educational loan. And for it we just have to get the bonafide certificate from the college stating to avail bank loan with the details of the fee structure and things with the attestation of the principal. It's quite an easy task. The average scholarship provided is Rs. 10,000 per year to each student student who is eligible.

As far as I know gender ratio is 2:3 (Girls: Boys). And yeah there is a students union representing the students of our college involved in organising various activities for the college. There are plenty of workshops organized form within the college. There are many stuffs organized other than workshops like Guest lecture, seminars and webminars. There are no Ravi or caste discrimination in our college and everyone knows. There are religion discriminations as well. As a whole the college has a wonderful atmosphere to study. No doubt in it. There is no such things as described such as Racism, politics etc.

No, I haven't opted for hostel. There are many available Seats in hostel. Not all rooms are full. There is no exclusion of food in the hostels. If you are staying in hostel, there will be a charge of hostel mess. You can't exclude the fee as far as I know. The quality of food is good and the rooms are neat and decent. It feels like you are in you own room. Just because I haven't opted for the hostel I dont know how it would be. But as far as I know from the comments from the hostellers I have heard that hostel is the most enjoyable part of your life and it is way better when compared to other colleges either be it infrastructure or food.

The alumni network and the senior students are a great guidance for all of us. They are absolutely fantastic, the way they interact with us makes us more and more comfortable with them. They are not just seniors, they are brothers and sisters from another mother according to me. They not only encourage us in studies but also in extra curricular activities. The alumni people of our college come once or twice in a year and they all will go to their respective departments and explain about their work, their tension and what to improve and how to behave. Everything matters a lot. Actually both the seniors and alumni of our college are actually a great boon for the college.

Yes. I'm currently a student of this college. I chose this course just because I wanted to learn in depth about communication. There are two ways of admission into the college. One is the way of merit based on your score in Higher Secondary which will be a process done by the Anna University, Chennai. Next is the way of entrance, if you are having enough score and there is another possible way of joining the institution by its Management quota by writing an entrance examination. For this you must fill the application forms earlier. And with your score in the entrance test and your Higher secondary merit score or the so called cut off score, you will be eligible to pick a course based on the cumulative scores of other people who wish to join this college. This is the admission procedure.

The tentative number of lecturers in my college is 90 in the college. Their average age is around 40 to 45. Their average qualification is M.E. but most of the staffs have completed their PhDs. They are very good in explaining the concepts to the students as they do a lot of work after the college hours to prepare for the next day's class. The head of the department holds a doctorate degree and many professors also hold one. Few of lecturers are research scholars and many of them have an industry experience and so they know how to teach the concepts.
