The infrastructure is wow and the environment is so fresh and it's plastic free zone
Course Curriculum Overview
You go for educational tour in every semester and field trips to various places. Being a chemist, we visit factories very often and make a report on it. And during winter we go for study tour to various places outside the state but mostly like holiday tour. Being a north eastern, we usually go to mainland India or south India. Half of the expense is paid by the college management while half by us. Comparing to other colleges in nagaland, I'd say we go to tour and other field trips 99% more than the other colleges
Placement Experience
Since it's only bsc level, we don't get internships. But for arts they get few like librarian. But I really hope the college would focus in providing the internship to students to gain experience in various and learn the work life outside our comfort zone
College Events
There are lots of events in the college. Infact every week. There's spring fest, eureka science fest, department fest for each department, Convergence fest for BBA, cultural week, sports week etc etc. There are more than 3k students and each department consist of 500+ students and it's mandatory for every student to take part
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee is quite feasible. We pay 3.9k installment for three months which is 1.3k per month and 20+ buses are provided which cost 1.3k per month. Hostel is also provided and the mess fee us 1.5k per month which is very cheap. For science students we pay extra 9k as lab fee
Fees and Financial Aid
The college provides scholarship for every students and there's no entrance test for it. But for people from outside state, I guess they're not allowed to apply
Campus Life
There is no gender ratios in the college, no racism. Everyone is so friendly. Students from multiple race and religions studies here. The management is ready to help out and consider if someone is facing a genuine financial prob. There is students council and they look after everything
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are provided by the college. For boys they share the room with 2 people and it holds around 300 people and for girls, there are two hostels in the college campus and the fees are quite feasible. The facilities are close to perfect. There is no shortage of water and electricity is not a problem
Alumni/Alumna
There is alumi in the college and the seniors are so friendly. They're willing to help the juniors in every way. They eve help the juniors by taking their class when professors are absent
Admission
It's one of the best college in the state. I opted for chemistry because we use chemistryin everyday life and this college provides a good lab facilities with the best professors. Admissions are usually done in the month of may and classes usually commence by the first week of June. For admission it's based on merit list and first come first basis
Faculty
There are hundred plus professors in the college. Atleast 10+ for each department including arts, commerce and BBA. I don't know about other departments but science the professors are highly qualified and their teaching skills are impeccable. Most of them have completed their PhD and they have a relevant industry experience which they gained from their internship during their masters and PhD
