A good college with well educated and friendly faculties.

I find Zoology a very fun subject. It is the study of animals, both living and extinct, including their anatomy, embryology, genetics, habits, and many more. The faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They're easy to approach and not only that their teachings are good. They're always ready to help when we're in need. For the science stream, there is a practical exam before the final theory exam. Also, the class test depends upon the respective professors of each stream. The exam question papers were issued by the NU board and not by the college. The question paper is average. It also depends on how well you prepare for the exam.

For the Arts stream the fees are quite low compared to the science stream. The college provides you with a part-time job working in the library during your free classes or during breaks. But this is eligible only for students with good grades and good attendance. One from arts and one student from science.

Multiple festivals or programs are conducted in the college like Freshers Day, Farewell for the final year students, Teachers Day, children's Day, Cultural Day, Literature Day, Advent Christmas, and many more. There used to be a sales day (fundraise) as well that was conducted by respective streams or batches for their educational trip purposes. There are also sports days that go on for at least 3 days. There are several thousand books in the library, newspapers, and magazines as well. There are also several clubs such as NCC, NSS, Cultural club, Literary Club, Environment Club....

The student should at least score 50% in his/ her higher secondary (12th Std). The application form is available on its official website or you may visit the college office staff or contact them for more details. Everything about the college is good except that the compound is not big enough. The professors and the office staffs are very friendly and understanding.
