The college culture overall including the campus life, academics and faculty is good. The infrastructure is well developed and facilities are great. Although few improvement can always be made.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have opted for BE in Information Technology. This is comparatively a newer branch in engineering. Although it is quite similar to Computer Engineering. The curriculum of IT is very fresh and keeps updating. It focuses more on practical knowledge and has project based study approach. Each semester a new coding language is introduced. IT has both software hardware as well as networking subjects.
Placement Experience
The placements are fair. Big corporates like LTi, TCS, Capgemini visit the campus. Apart from this Hexaware, Ugam etc do visit. The college also provides extra help to prepaer for aptitude and interviews.
College Events
The biggest fest in Navi Mumbai is conducted in the campus of our college. It is named Alegria. It goes on for 4 days. Apart from this many cultural events like Uber Rang are held. Apart from this the college has many technical committee who conduct technical events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is taken annually. The fees is around 100000-110000. The payment is to be done by demand draft. In case a student has genuine issues he is granted extension in fees payment. And in worst case installments are also granted. Cheque pqyment is not acceptable.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, i havent opted for any kind of scholarship. Although a scholarship for EBC students and Minorities are available. And all the information related to it is easily given by the concerned authorities.
Campus Life
The diversity is good. Equal opportunities are provided to every student inspite of the caste, sex, race, economic status or any other influence. The college conducts every activiry providing everyone with open opportunity. The gender ratio in my course is almost 45-55 girl-boy.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Recently the college has formed an Alumni committee which keeps a track of the alumni and help the students connect with them.
Admission
I gave the MH CET exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. Once this is done, we are enrolled with DTE. In this portal we need to submit a list of colleges we are interested in or desire to get admitted into. Along with this form filling is done which has our information. Then according to our entrance exam scores and other factors and eligibility a college is alloted to us in one round. Like these four rounds are released.
Faculty
On an average we spend five hours in theoey lectures and two hours in practical labs in a day. The week consists of five days. The faculty is although available for six days a week. And are approachable even on weekends. There is a team of experts inevery department.
