Course Curriculum Overview
Yes the schedule is very hectic right from Monday to Friday. Labs are of 4 hours once in a week. Labs are well equiped for research purposes. Exams and quizzes are frequent. Course curriculum is well suited to produce good chemical engineers including all the courses related to industry related problems.
Placement Experience
A hell lot of companies come in our campus to provide placements to final year students and internships to pre-final year students. Domestic packages ranging upto 62 lakhs have been offered and international package upto 2.27 crore is being offered. Software firms,financial firms are the companies that offer highest packages to students. Stipends ranging upto 2 lakh have being offered. College Events
Our College holds three fest,one cultural,one techno-management and one for sports. Kashiyatra is the cultural event( 3 days) Spardha is sports event(3 days) Technex is the techno- management event(3 days) All the fest have their individual budget ranging from 70lakhs -1crore. Many celebrities come to entertain us on these fest. Colleges all around the country participates in various workshops held in this events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Little expensive because it is an government College. Fees are hectic but facilities provided by our College are more then worth it. Schlorship are also given to many deserving students. Almost all the other services of campus are free of cost or very low rate
Fees and Financial Aid
Our institute provide 100% fee remision for students having family income<1 lakh and 66% fee remission for students having family income between 1 lakh and 5 lakh. Various institute schlorship are also present for students which make their living convient.
Campus Life
Gender ratio is very poor here. In our branch female to male ratio is 0.17. Student parties don't exist here.Our campus is non-political. Their are many workshops conducted by different clubs or societies. Some examples of clubs are lit club,dance and music club,social service club and various technology related clubs. Students here are from all over India and some from abroad also and all students live with hormony and peace inspire of all the social,cultural,economic differences.
Hostel Facilities
It is completely residential campus ,so no need for renting rooms. Rooms are equiped with two beds,two study tables,tubelights and fans. Hostels are very big as the students residing in the campus are so more
Alumni/Alumna
Our alumnus are present all around a world as institute has completed it's 100 years. So alumni network is very good. Seniors are sometimes more useful than faculties,and they are very friendly. All the doubts regarding academics,internships,placements ,research are cleared by senior students. They are our real life mentors.
Admission
Admission are done through joint entrance exam- advanced.A merit list is prepared and ranks are distributed among students according to their marks.Students need to fill option form as per their choice and wait for the seat allotment results which has seven rounds. No interviews are conducted. But one has to qualify jee mains for appearing in advanced.
Faculty
All faculties have done pH.D from premier science institutes in India as well as Abroad.All of them have published a good number of research papers in their field.If anyone has to go in research field they guide them to do so.
