You will be paying so high to get a btech degree from a tier-two College. If you are a north indian you will be discriminated. If you are a girl , VIT is like a jail for you. After paying about 16 lakhs for your btech , you would end up getting a job of 3 lakhs per annum.

Vit has variety of courses, I chose CSE because It has got both advantages as well as disadvantages:advantages:-1)if u are a great knowledge in programming, better to join in CSE branch2)u can easily get through any of the corporate it sector jobs after the completion of your B. Tech in CSE branch. 3)career opportunity is more.

A total of 690 companies visited VIT Vellore in the annual placement drive of 2019. A total of 6180 job offers were made to the students across all the streams. Some of the leading companies that became a part of the placement process include Microsoft, Philips, HP, TCS and Bosch among many others. The highest placement percentage was offered in IT sector with 35% of the overall placement share.

Vibrance – a national-level two-day cultural and sports festival is by far the largest cultural festival of VIT Chennai and since its inception has served as a pioneer of art and culture for the youth. It is a world where people will be overwhelmed to enter but never think of exit. Through the years providing a "one of it's kind" experience has been the predicament of the festival and achieving it every year has been our legacy. So carrying the same legacy forwards this time also.

You can get an education loan for pursuing education from VIT. VIT might already be having special collaborations with some banks, with the provision of education loans specially designed for students of VIT, probably at interest rates lower than the usual rate of interest that banks offer.

The clubs here at VIT suits everyone’s enthusiasms and fits everyone on campus. VIT is enhanced with many such clubs. These clubs help students cultivate leadership and team-building skills. These clubs are responsible for the never-ending stream of liveliness and events that happen in our College. Name technical, artistic, research-oriented or public speaking, everything and everyone is satisfied here.

The VITAA (VIT Alumni Association) network has several National and International chapters, and the network continues to spread. The National chapters function from Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Pune, Hyderabad, Vellore, Chittoor, Puducherry, Coimbatore, Salem, VGA (Vijayawada, Guntur & Amaravati), Visakhapatnam and Bhopal.

I gave the entrance exam and then prepared well from past years question paper, then appeared in the exam, the question paper consists of 4 section physics, chemistry, maths, english and maths comprised of 40 marks, physics chemistry 30 each english 5 marks.

Most of the faculties are south indian only, some are north Indians also and Motivational, Knowledgeable and creative teachers are in the faculties. As they get paid very well. Always encourages students to enhance their qualities.
