I had also chosen VVCE in mysore for the AIML branch and also CS branch in SJCE in mysore. I couldn't get both these colleges because I had not studied for kcet due to which my rank was very high. The cutoff for these course in these colleges is very low so I couldn't make it and also the fees in management quota was way more than I could afford. I applied for JNNCE and PES institute of technology and management in Shimoga. And i got seat in electronics and communication branch for the first attempt in CET councelling in PES institute of technology and management but i thought this branch will be tough Hence i applied to 2nd round and got seat in Information science and engineering branch. I thought the JNNCE college is not as strict than PES institute of technology and management hence i opted PES institute of technology and management than JNNCE. I was not rejected by JNNCE but i got seat in PES for the very second round hence instead of thinking further i joined. The admission process of our college is to write CET or Comedk exam after PUC and to enquire the details from the college according to the ranking in CET or Comedk if we get government seat or to take management seat for our ranking. If we can get government seat we can join by paying the amount or else must pay the college fee to get addmission in management seat as soon as possible. No special exams are conducted go join PES institute of technology and management must check the cutoffs according to college. KCET scores decide which college you will get. Ofcourse JSS and Ramaiah were my first choice but my rank was a bit below and therefore I got th admissions here. So, it's not like one is rejected it's about th chocies and our ranks that help us get the colleges in Karnataka. Nothing bad remark on our college. It has good in infrastructure, courses, lecturers, fee structure, hostels and security, bus facilities, placement opportunities, quality knowledge, libraries and also do personal development activities but somewhere it is strict about id card and using mobile phones and also in conducting cultural activities....Read More
