Remarks

Good college.Needs to conduct IVs to bigger companies and at some other places than Mumbai.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Tbh MU's engineering course is so outdated. It just focus on theoretical knowledge of students. No proper practicals. No industrial knowledge. It is all about writing assignments and passing exams somehow. But if your college is good enough it will provide you various workshops so that you can learn many things which are actually useful.

Placement Experience

4

Placement record of our college is excellent.Thats one of the main highlight of our college. They really try hard to place their students. Many reputed companies like TCS come to our campus for hiring employees.CS and It department have best placement record.Electronics and electronics and telecommunication have decent record. From past few year these branches are struggling.Instrumentation is very poor at placements.

College Events

4

Horizon is one of the biggest fest jn Navi Mumbai. Its 3 days of fest.Besides many commettes host many programs in college. For example social Wing rait hosts a charity marathon.SUC hosts Ganesh utsav, Horizon and many more cultural events.Techfest is also hosted everyyear

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its slightly expensive as compared to other mu colleges. My fee is 62k(EBC) For open it is 1, 21, 396 rs For OBC and EBC its 62k approximately For sc/st and other backward classes its 4k. For TFWS students it's 15k Each term is per year* Now the fees have been updated and it may vary.I am telling the fee structure of my time that is of 2018

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I opted for EBC (Economic backward classes) scholarship which gives me 50% return of my fees. Its government scholarship and College has nothing to do with it.College provides funds to toppers who top in respective departments or in university. For ebc your annual income must be less than 8lakhs and you must be form open category.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is good.Gender ratio is also good.I have not seen any fights related to sex, caste, religion but the problem is the university is located in Maharashtra where their is lot of caste related debates are going.Locals here hate people from other states mostly up, Bihar. But faculty is not involved in any such practices. They talk in hindi or English for understanding of students.Avoid stepping into political discussions if you are not a local. And please don't speak if you are from up or Bihar.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are so helpful and one of the best seniors you will find in this colleges.Ragging is not at all a thing in RAIT.Theres also an anti ragging commette.

Admission

I love electronics. My 11-12th vocal subject was aslo electronics.I had interest in this field, that's why I choose this field. My institute is one of the best private Institute under Mumbai University. It has good placement record and it really works hard for placements of students.CS and IT departments are very reputed departments of this Institute. First its compulsory to give MH-CET entrance exam for admission in Mumbai University engineering courses. Its 200M mcq exam. After that you have to fill a form and give preference to the colleges you want according to your priority. Then based on your cet score you are alloted Colleges.Three list are released.Whenever you are satisfied with the alloted college you can confirm it.3rd list is final and that will be the last college alloted to you.

Faculty

3.5

Our college have good and helpful faculty. They do their best so that students can understand. Moreover they encourage us to participate in extra curricular activities and are always their to help us.As I said its Mumbai University whose syllabus is outdated so teacher can do nothing about it.They have to complete the portion and teach According to university syllabus which I doubt will be of any use in future.Writing dozens of assignments would not make us engineerins.

Sakec have many job/internship opportunities. The college provides different trainings and intership opportunities. Currently, in 2023-24, 42 students have alreday been placed with 25 LPA (highest CTC offered). College have tie-up with many reknowed companies. The highest salary package offered is 24 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. My plan after getting the degree of bachelor of engineering is to go for masters and acknowledge more and more knowledge in engineering filed. And be my level best. I'm also looking forward for opportunities to go abroad for my mtech degree. Future my expectations form college are High. Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
