After H.S.C in science I appeared for JEE mains in which I scored 38 out of 360 which was comparatively less. I thought I will not get admission in any of the engineering college in mumbai.And then H.S.C results declared in which i scored 72 percentage after that my composite score of hsc and jee was around 70. Now I thought I will get admission in engineering. Then I applied for engineering through dte website.because I wanted to be an engineer from begining of my college.Then I got admission in atharva in 3rd round of cap. I was having many other option then atharva but my freinds and relatives said that atharva is very good cllege.

For first year all the subjects are same for all branches.for both first and second sem all the subjects are same for all branchs.after that subject varries according to their respective branch. I am in EXTC branch so I have 6 subjects in third sem i.e AM 3 ,AE 1 , DE, EIM, OOPM, CTL.

I have not done any internship in our college due to tight schedule.But college offers many internship programs for students those who are intersted. Top companies like L&T InfoTech, Infosys, iGATE Patni, Tech Mahindra visit the institution.

The placement in college is very good.Many companies like CMC Ltd, Capgemini, L&T, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, etc.vist the college for campus recruitment. In the last couple of years, almost 60 to 70% of the students gets placements.and some students opt for higher studies and some try own their own.

There are 4 festivals and a Sports Week.1. TECHITON : it is a technical festival conducted by students council with many technical events like coding,webdeveloping,online gaming , circuit mounting etc. 2. RHYTHM : it is a cultural festival of college.where many colleges comes to participate.3. E-WEEK : this is a festival which encourages entrepreneurship conducted by ember e-cell4. IEEE : it is also a technical event for electronics and electrical students.Great atmosphere during the festivals

The fee structure is feasible and comparatively cheap from other colleges in mumbai.first year fees: 69000second year fees: 72000I dont know about third year and fourth year fees because iam in second year now.the fees is less than other colleges in mumbai except rizvi college of engineering.

There is scholarship called Rajiv Gandhi scholar ship. But it is for the students who secured 8.0 or more pointer in first year. For which I was not eligible. And there is another scholarship called EBC scholarship for economically backward class students.

Infrastructure at Atharva College of Engineering is appreaciated by the students. Campus is excellent and there is greenery all around.There is a robotc centre in college. An awsome auditorium designed by pvr cinema, swimming pool.24 hrs of WiFi internet connectivity throughout the institute but it is password protected and the password is known to only student council.the gender ratio is pretty good. shorts are not allowed and mobile phones are not allowed. also has excellent sports facilities such as cricket ground, basketball court and volleyball court in the campus.

There is no hostel in our college. There are numerous canteens run by the hotel management institute of the same trust. It is spacious and serves delicious food at affordable prices. The Chinese is a must have. They also serves non-vegetarian food on sele

Seniors are very freindly and very helpful. There is not anything like ragging.Seniors are always ready to help.Amazing seniors - both professionally and as an individual.You are given full independence and freedom in executing your tasks, and seniors are very receptive of any ideas or suggestions in any event of college.

In each sem there are 2 unit test and 1 semester exam and some lab exam according to subjects. They are very strict during exam . there is very less chances of cheating in exam due to strict supervisors.Lab assistants are very helpful and skilled and frei

Teachers for 1st year are too good. EXTC faculty is good as well. If you want to bunk for some reason you can but be smart about it. Attendance is compulsory 75% but you can get away with less than that.Just be nice to the profs and respect them in class,
