Id card is mandatory so you have to hang it in your neck all the time or else they will charge you fine or you have to go to HOD office. 75% attendence is must 74.9% amd you are detained. There are a lot a looooot of students in university.
Course Curriculum Overview
University trains you in every aspect. They teach you every minor and major things. Curriculum is actually vey good. You got tutorial in which you can have your doubts cleared and get practice questions and then you have a lab on daily basis and a lot of lectures. One thing you should keep in your mind 75% attendance is must. 75% or no exams except exceptional cases. Your ID card is mandatory your id card means you cn live here or else pay fine i.e. 500 rs.
Placement Experience
Our university is famous for placements like they have done 2000 placements in 2 months. Over 500+ companies visit our campus for placements and i hope you can get good placement.
College Events
There are a lot of events that University conduct every year. Tech. events, cultural events and a lot. CU Fest is the biggest event that CU conducts. This year CU hosted Punjab Youth festival in which around 3000-4000 students visited our university.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is feasible as you compare to other universities but as compared to government colleges its expensive. Fee structure is actually good and you got a number of scholarship on merit basis and cu conducts their own test for scholarships. You can submit your fess by any method by cash or by card or online.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have opted for education loan. Procedure from university side is very simple University will give you fee structure from loan department and just get a demand letter from bank and give it to university and your loan is sanctioned. Scholarship have a different approach. It is first come first serve the first 10% getting admission and eligible get scholarship
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty good. Gender ratio is unequal as there are a lot of boys over girls. Campus is clean and green with a good amount of diversity. You get a sports complex and except swimming you have every sport. Workshops are there for you. There are tech events.
Alumni/Alumna
There are a lot of students in university that i think is the only drawback so you dont get a chance to interact with your seniors.
Admission
I was interested in ai and ml so i wamted to join this university. I opted for this course because in upcoming 5 years ai and ml will used everywhere and ai is future. I choose Chandigarh University as of affordable fee structure and a clean and good infrastructure. Admission is on the basis of merit and as in my course minimum percentage required was 80%. I was a bit late in admitting myself so i have to submit full fee but i if you have registered earlier so you can get admission on half fees. University has a verf fast process of admission. They allot you a counselor and then they check your certificates register you and take fee and you good to go.
Faculty
Faculty is good. You have an immense number of professors and obviously they all ae professional in their fields if any one is absent another one takes class. Some of them are Phd holders and some have done their masters. They have very good knowledge of their fields and the teachers i got yet almost all of them are very good. They all are very interactive and good in their fields.
