Everything is pretty straight. Somaiya has an awesome management.They make sure student gets the best.To conclude I'll say Somaiya is a great place to be. The only problem is location.It's at vidyavihar. So western ppl, have a bit of problem travelling.Bu

Direct second year after diploma. Scored 75%. I scored the last seat of Somaiya. That too from 3rd round. (From pune). I was just excited after looking their campus.Just visit once, and you'll understand why.

Course is not completely practical oriented, but teachers take that extra effort to make it interestingAfter being autonomous they've changed the way things used to happen. A lot of weightage is put on to practicals now.Each subject has mini project.

Somaiya has a separate space called as riddl.Many startup are born there.So easily you get internships there.Also MNCs come for internship.

I'm in 7th Sem and I'm placed and most of my friends too.Tpo is very cool.He brings in a lot of opportunities. Sevive Companies offer around 3-3.5 lpa.Companies like Infosys, Accenture, TCS.But theyre mass recruites. Investment banking offers the Max. Morgan Stanley- 15lpa.Barclay's -8 lpa(I'm placd at Barclay's).Jp Morgan -6.2 lpa.And many more dream companies come. Every one above 5lpa.

Somaiya hosts a lot of festivals.Main being symphony and abhiyantriki. And many workshops and festivals are conducted. They've got this stuco app in android devices which keeps you updated with all events.

Same as other engineering colleges in Mumbai.1.3 lakh per annum. I'll say its worth it.But again you get scholarship if you rank 1 or 2nd from second year.

Scholarships available for minority. Also for poor income people And lower caste people have a lot of privileges.Tata scholarship also available for top ranker's.

Now campus is the place to be. Any other three engineering college does not has as cool campus as Somaiya. Race track, football ground, cricket ground, two gardens. Everything you've got here. If you bunk lectures, you need search for place to hang out.

Very good. I don't stay there, but my friends say its pretty cool.2 hostels available.Both are good. Second one has more facilities.Ac,wifi, gym and all.But cheaper option is also available.

Seniors are pretty helpful. Infact they helped me clear Barclay's interview.And also one of my seniors got me a cool internship in 3rd year. So I'm really happy abt my senior's. Somaiya has this awesome senior- junior relation.Even we're connect to our junior's.

Very good compared to Mumbai university scheme. Exams are scheduled properly unlike mu where exams go on and on for month.
