College review

Mostly positive but allot of negative too, but it's like any other engineering college, and don't get your hopes very high, any college would eventually disappoin you one or another way, so best work on your skills

The course is as fair as it gets in a govt college, good company in terms of students who are well equipped but not really a good adminstration, fees is really low so there's that, you won't complain much

Placement is close to none as of 2019, maybe it'll get better in future, our placement cell needs to be revamped, TPO is the worse, but you'll get allot of pool campus, but won't really help if you don't have anything to showcase

Almost all cultural events take place, reunion, fest, tech fest you name it, and the amount that's soent over it is also quite huge, you'll have a good college life in terms of events and engineering lifestyle that's for sure

Is the lowest among all colleges that's for sure, you'll barely feel it, and is really flexible in terms of payment schedule, you don't really need to worry about that at least not from an engineering standpoint

There's only 2 freeship scheme, other than that there's no scholarship, honestly you wouldn't be needing any for sure, the fees is really low in the sense of engineering, but you can apply for external scholarship

This college isn't about extra curricular activities that's for sure, maybe some cricket and foosball but that's it, you won't get many opportunities here for those, should try elsewhere if you have that plan

I didn't take hostel, but i guess it's also cheap and average, but you probably wanna take up Mess for this one, if you really want a non crouded atmosphere, but the company would be good in hostel (obviously)

The alumni network is great for the TT and APM. But not for cse or it as far as i know, because they have a longer existential status than other streams, but surely you can expect some good alumni from now onn

In 2015 i was admitted through wbjee, but now you can also get in via JEE MAINS, after the rank is out through state level or all india level councelling you can get into the college, but if you have good AIR rank, I'd suggest some NIT

The only bad thing about this college is the faculty, you'd have mixed feelings i guess, some professors are just outstanding but most are just sloppy and lame in terms of their skills, and fairly quota based (SC, ST) but you can expect help from the ones that really care about the students
