As it is a Government Polytechnic so administration is strict we have to follow every rules & regulations given by the authorities.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have completed my diploma in Metallurgical Engineering & then got a job in a Mnc company. A Metallurgical engineer will need not to be stay at home after completing the course,he will get job either in Private sector or in Government sector we have to face 6 semesters which are conducting on every 6 mnths. Also 2 internal exam is taken by our teachers in every semester. Also some practical exam, viva also taken in every semester.

So many private companies came to the college campus for campusing they takes interview & take away students for their companies
College Events
Yearly Social program, freshers for new joint students in 1st year, saraswati puja,take fest, industry visit, vishwakarma puja.college foundation day,some picnics.students are enjoying the college life.our teachers are very friendly & always ready to help the students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
1200-1500 rs at the time of admition,then 300-500 for semester fees,& around 1500-2000 rs yearly because it is a government college. also hostel facility available if anyone interested to take hostels then he/she have to payment hostel fees along with food it is around 1000-2000 per month
Fees and Financial Aid
No,bt minority students got scholarship. also female candidates got scholarship.bank loan not required because it is tot too much expensive course
Campus Life
Mainly male students are in Metallurgical Engineering course bt some female candidates are also take admission in it.all religion,race,sex students are welcomes here. Students are mainly from middle class & low middle class economic status family bt all are welcome here.
Hostel Facilities
No bt both ladies & gents hostel are available also so many PGs Mess are available, wherever you want to stay go on with an average expenses of RS 2000 per month. there are so many hotels are also available for fooding.
Alumni/Alumna
All the seniors are too much helpful. we have our own alumni current Students are also joined in this alumni. we have a very good relationship between ex & current students
Admission
1st of all given Jexpo examination & secured a good rank & then after counseling got a chance to admit in Purulia Government Polytechnic. then visit to college on date given at the time of counseling & got admitted. I didn't take hostel bt take a PG for RS 1400 per month bt normally Pg/mess are available in 800-1000 rs per month.
Faculty
In Metallurgical Engineering department we got 3 well educated middle age teacher who has a vast knowledge in Metallurgy in theory as well as Practical. We have a dedicated Metallurgical Building with lab our teachers lab assistant are always ready to help the students with theirs vast knowledge.
