Average remarks because the timing of the class and there is no centralised A/C so in summer season student face many problem while sitting in the class room in the afternoon time.

Computer Science department is good and the electrical department is also good but apart from these department all other department struggle a little bit in order to place their students in corresponding core companies. The computer science department have very good faculties though.

Yes placement in the college is very good. This year a lot of companies came to campus and a lot of off-campus drive took place. A lot of good companies made us eligible to participate in their off campus drive and the college helped us by proving bus services each time a drive took place somewhere else from berhampur.

Sankalp, which is a tech fest. And Waves, which is a cultural fest. Both happens generally in the month of feb and march respectively and we enjoy it a lot. Many technical events are oraginsed by club members of different department. And thre a prize pool for the winners.

Feasible, looking at all the other private college nearby especially at Bhubaneswar the fee structure of this college is feasible though the infrastructure could have been improved and the road maintainance can be done in larger scale but this does not impact in the quality of study provided in the college.

No, i have not applied for any scholarship and i have not taken any educational loan. The scholarship are available for the student who are attending 100 percent attendances and all the other scholarships are available.

The gender ratio varies with department to department. The computer science have gender ratio of about 2:1 boys to girls ratio and same is the ratio for electrical department. But in other branches the ratio drops to 4:1 or even 5: 1 ratio. The mechanical branch does not have any girl student this year.

No, I have my relatives staying at berhampur so i opted to stay with them rather spending more 20k to college for staying in hostel. The food quality have been improved from when i joined the college till date.

Nice alumni. The alumni are great. Some have become very big entrepreneur. Some have become chairman of big overseas bank,etc.

By the help of jee mains rank i applied ojee form and then i gave list of colleges in order of my preference and i got selected in NIST,Berhampur. The ojee form is important as it decides the order of college and the order of branch one decide to accept in that particular college.

The faculties are nice, interactive and knowledgeable. They say no if they dont know the answer of the queries of the student. And if they know then they will call the student to their cabin if needed and make them understand their doubt bit by bit. So its a nice culture at NIST.
