It is an average college for average students. Not that much happening one. chemical.After spending 4 years in cvrce and 8 lakhs money,hardly u get 20K salary in hand if ur branch is IT Or CS. Quality teaching is also not available in Cvrce.it makes fun Quality education for new millennium.Even if Bosch and Siemens centre of excellence is there available in cvrce but the company not recruit cvrce student through campus placement.

Initially in first year the whole day was hectic for me because there were a lot of subjects, practicals, general proficiency class according to students interest. But when we have to only study our branch papers there was a relief. In each semester we have 3 tests- internal, mid semester and end semester. Internal of 10% weightage, mid semester of 20% and end semester of 60% and rest 10% will be given by teachers on the basis of assignments and your behaviour.

For CSE and IT students placement is good but for core branches like EE, Mech, civil, etc it's very worse. Very few companies for core branches come. And mostly IT company visit the college for placements. Highest package that is offered is 7lpa.wipro, cognizant, infosys, EPAM, capegemini are some of the companies that visited the college for placements. And college didn't provide any internship you have to do it on your own.

Technical fest is organized of 2-3 days where different departments have their different games and events. In cultural festival various interesting events are there it's fun to participate and participate in those events and in the last day we have a fashion show, dance and singing performances, DJ and food stalls.

For B. Tech college fee for per year is 1,30,000 in total (1,15,000 is for the tution fee and 15,000 for ssepl). Ssepl is additional training programs provided by college. Different organization gives us trainings like BEC, etc.

There is a scholarship named prerna for odisha students only. Students can avail this scholarship if they have more than 60% in 10th, 12th and btech. And parents income should be less that 2 lakh per annum.

Various events are organized for students to show their extracurricular talents.cricket, football,basketball matches are organized. And sports day is also celebrated. International students are also coming for education.

The hostel fee for girls is 67,000 per year. And the hostel is perfect with all the facilities for girls including accommodation and mess food. The food is of average quality.But the boys hostel is not so good.

The seniors are very interactive and helped me in many things from doubts to how to pursue my passion while studying. Whether they are my seniors or super seniors they helped me. Exchanging notes or clearing doubts they are there.

I chose B.Tech in Computer science. I have not been a "computer person" from the very beginning. I caught this fever when I was in class 12.After getting a lot of information from my teacher and uncle who is in IT background I gained interest in this department. The focus of Computer Engineering is particularly on computer hardware and software. Course topics of this program include data processing, software engineering, operating system, networking and web development. In addition to this, this degree also prepares students for certifications from organizations like Microsoft and Cisco.I had given JEE entrance exam after that I filled the OJEE form and choose different colleges according to my priority. And I got cvrce.

Although it was a quite good college upto last few years, but nowadays motive of management has slipped from quality education to MONEY. Most of the senior professors has left the college within last 2 years and management is recruiting new faculties having NO EXPERIENCE.
