Remarks
The college is very good about the academic works but sometimes the administration members don't bother about the problems of the students and again there are a few teachers how can't really help us in our study.Except these the college is quite good.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is average because my college is under MAKAUT University and the course structure is improving for colleges under the university and on the other half every day in college is kind of hectic because there is frequent classes and very frequent tests and labs.
Placement Experience
The Placement is quite good in the college, mainly TCS and CTS is the main recruiters in the college and again there is a lots of internships.College organises seminars to give students basic idea about internships and all.
College Events
College organises four tech fests as well as a lots of cultural fests and many more technical events.Xplorica is the technical team of college and they organises a lots of fests and seminars.Culrav,the cultural club is quite active also.
Fee Structure And Facilities
In my course for the first two sem the free is rs 40 k per sem then the next two is rs 41k and then rs 42k and rs 43k respectively. The admission fee is approximately 80k rs including the first semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a few scholarship like SVMCM. SVMCM provides a 60k rs per annum and again there are facilities like WBFS under which students don't have to give any tuition fees.Again college gives some discount on tuition fee under WBFS scheme.
Campus Life
The extracurricular activities aren't that much great but there is Sportivo,the sports wing of college,they organises a lots of game tournaments like Crickete and football.Students often play football together and even faculty members join them.
Hostel Facilities
The average fees of pg is 4000 rs per month.They provide a lots of facilities but the food is not good at all.The monthly fees are excluded of electricity bills and other expenses.But the owner of pg is very good behaving.
Alumni/Alumna
The senior students are very helpful in nature and the alumnis are very very helpful.They helps us in our projects and treat us as their own brothers.They give us very good advice like how to get good GPA and a good job.
Admission
From my childhood I wanted to be an engineer and so decided to give entrance tests like WBJEE and I got a chance for counciling for college on the basis of my rank and I got admission in this college.
Faculty
The faculty is very good in this college and they help us very much in every possible way they can help.They take frequent tests and help us to clear doubts. Sometimes they help us on their personal levels in many tasks like coding competition and all other competitions.
