My college is a very reputed college in West Bengal and it gave me the best days of my life.The college totally changed me from being shy to being an confidant person.It taught me team building and hard work.
Course Curriculum Overview
The courses were very helpful. It really helped me to crack my interview. The course structure was also well organized. In first year we got an overview of others streams also like Electrical and Mechanical Engineering so that we got a basic idea of all. Then from second year onwards our courses was focused on only IT subjects.
Placement Experience
We got many opportunities from our college for placements.Many IT companies came and recruited many students. Even I got one job opportunity in one MNC from my college. However, our college doesn't provide any internships.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our fee structure was much feasible. We joined as a fresher in 1st semester for 28k and completed B.Tech in 8th semester with 31.5k. Fee structure: 1st Sem : 28k 2nd Sem : 28.5k 3rd Sem : 29k 4th Sem : 29.5k 5th Sem : 30k 6th Sem : 30.5k 7th Sem : 31k 8th Sem : 31.5k
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college provided free education for brilliant students who are financially poor and for TFW quota students the fees per semester was 300 only. Also our college provided some of the students to continue their education by giving education loan (i.e they don't have to pay anything while in college but have to pay the money annually once after getting their job).
Campus Life
The labs were outstanding. It was so interesting that we used to stay extra hours in labs. Their were not only IT labs but also Chemical ,Electrical and Mechanical labs. In case of sports along with the students, the teachers were also very enthusiastic. They used to participate in Football and Cricket matches. Even in badminton and volleyball matches were also played between the teachers and the students.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors in our college were very helpful,kind and friendly. They never ragged us and always guided us to the correct career path. They even helped us to crack interviews by taking our mock interviews.
Admission
Through online counseling I was selected. First I had to give the streams name according to my choice then on basis of my WBJEE rank they provided me the available seat.I gave Computer Science as my first preference and Information Technology as second preference. So, based on my rank they gave me a seat in Information Technology.
Faculty
The faculties are really very helpful. They helped us to understand each and every subject easily. Without their help we couldn't even get the mental strength to crack interview. They helped us to be confident also by arranging several project presentations.
