College Review

College is pretty good and very helpful faculty. Gradually more renown companies have started coming into the campus. Also the average placement percentage and packages have taken a sharp jump in the last 2 years.

Course curriculum is pretty standard and is at par with all the other institutes. The entire 4 years were divided into 8 semesters. In each semester we used to have two internal examinations and one final examination. Apart from this there were practical exams as well related to the respective subject.

Placements are pretty good. Companies come to campus during the start of the 7th semester. There is no shortage of good companies and on average the placement percentage is around 95% on the last 5-6 years.

As far as events are concerned, You should be rest assured. Plenty of events happen from time to time. For example, every year there is Robotics hackathon where students from different colleges participate

Fee structure is a bit on the expensive side. Nowadays the fees for one year is around 1 lakh 15 thousand excluding hostel charges. In case you wish to avail the hostel services, you need to pay an additional amount of 70000 per year.

As far as loans are concerned, there is no particular policy for this as the college administration is a private body and they don't have the liability to offer such schemes. Although I have heard few cases of fee exemption/relaxation but don't have much information on this.

Gender ratio is well balanced. (60 - 40 among boys and girls). There are plenty of culture clubs that one can join at a nominal fee. Also you have the leverage to multiple clubs at the same time. There is no discrimination on the basis of religion/caste among the students.

In case you wish to avail the hostel services, you need to pay an additional amount of 70000 per year. However hostels are well mainty and there is only single person occupancy in one room. They provide good WIFI connection, tasty food etc.

Senior students are very helpful and are always ready to guide you in whichever way it is feasible. Also the alumni network is very strong and they keep on posting useful info such as study material/ job opportunities on the college portal.

My colleges takes an entrance exam and the cut off rank went till 2000 during my time. One of the main reasons for choosing this course is the scope of job opportunities in market related to this. A lot of reputed companies come to campus every year offering good salaries.

College faculty is highly experienced and well qualified. Each and every had completed M.tech from one of the premiare institutes. Some of the have been teaching big institutes such as DTU, NSIT and IITs as well.
