Good college with basic facilities.

Nice infrastructure, Well placed, Friendly staff, Labs are good, Many good teachers bad new college lacks in experience, new faculty some times not very helpful, location in very far from Railway or main city. Management good management to minimize distraction need to develop minimum canteen / and experienced teachers need to hold experienced faculties from going away.

I joined college through lateral entry, as i had done diploma in electrical before this BE course. On basis of my diploma no, Techno India group released a list, on which my name appeared ad I met techno india official and got admitted at once.

It was a detailed course like regular full time i only joined directly at 2nd year as already complete diploma in electrical bachelor in electrical engineering elective power system, had a training in barasat sub.

I had training at barasat Sub division for free no paid internship offered to us also I had taken more training at bandel thermal power station for near a week. A full time intense training involved practical view on how to use SCADA and other real time software.

Few big companies came like wartsila & cummins India good companies came but a hand full for electrical. You needed to clear the writing exam to face the GD & PIWartsila not clearly mentioned what to offer, as I reached upto GD only cummins offered approximately 9k for GET ( graduate engineering trainee) job.

Our college celebrates Yearly events "Leganzza" in true spirit it is a joint festival. Leganzza started in 2002 and is held in march. Students who are passionate about dance, dramatics, and singing, showcase their talent in the fest. Performances of bands such as Bhoomi, Cactus, Euphoria, Parikrama are held.

Fees structure was approx 30 K yearly a bit expensive but without sufficient degree you won't be able to appear in required exams, govt jobs. Our college was at that time under developing phase hence full arrangements were not available, so I felt the charges were expensive.

I have no idea of any such kind of loan available at that point of time may be later such facility was given i have not inquired of the same.

Campus life is very good, friendly atmosphere.80:20 ratio for boys : girls later it all got changed hostel parties were minimum, may be a monthly party internally college campus kept out of political reach so bandh, or party disturbance can be avoided. All ethenic people are welcome as students no difficulties for different religious people. Never it came as obstacle.

Hostel was very far from college at the beginning, but later they made a new hostel building next to main college building, so it was good then but expensive many students came out of hostel facility to stay in mess food was good but boring in nature.

Yes i had met one two senior member in my early days of job, and they helped and suggested me on various ways of related job later when I followed a particular path , or company I got detached from the network.

Yearly 2 semesters for 4 year full time engineering students. As I admitted directly in 2nd year, I had to appear in 3 year x 2 semesters 6 semesters. Labs were good and we did the practicals with enough time.

Good teacher for electrical practial lab was well equipped theory was taken by well qualified teacher, but in 4th year, few classes were taken by fresh teachers who I felt a bit inexperienced.
