Good college in terms of Campus and infradtructure

The college is overall good. But the strictness in every thing gives us a feel as if we are in a school life. The timings are very sharp. Also there are two shifts of students. The shift 2 students have very odd timings.

The course curriculum was decided by Savitribai Phule Pune University. The exam structure is also designed by the University. The course curriculum is a bit hard in terms of academics. The rules for this university are quite strict. The exam phases are also tough. The supervision and even valuation of exam is taken very tough.

The placement in this college is quite better than other colleges around in the area. Comapnies like Wipro, LTI, Infosys etc. Come to the campus every year. The arrangement for interview process is very good. There's a special central placement cell for the college students through which all placement related activities are taken place.

Many events take place around the year in this college. All technical, cultural and other curricular events are given importance. There are various clubs for various activities in this college. Zeal cultural centre, Zeal Cyborg club, and so on.

The fee structure here is comparatively feasible. The original fees amount is 98000 per year. But there are schemes and government offers for students who are economically backward, and also for reserved caste candidates. The Economicslly Backward and OBC have the fees upto 52000 per year, whereas SC, NT, VJNT etc. Have fees upto Rs. 1500 per year.

There are scholarships available from government for various studenst coming under economical backwardness and reserved castes. The Maharashtra government pays upto half fees of students with OBC castes. The castes like NT, VJNT, SC, ST have so much of offer in their fees. They just have fees upto Rs. 1500 per year. All the banks give education loans for fees in this college.

The extra curricular activities are give much importance as like of the actual curriculum. There many technical and non technical events happening around the year. Students participate in various such events and get succeeded with flying colours. The college has even world records in many extra curricular activities.

I haven't opted for hostel. The hostel is only available for girls. There are many private hostels and rooms on rent around in this place. So there is no issue of places to stay for the students. Even the girls places around are available in cheap prices and also safe.

There is no such organisation for alumni network. But the development is in process. Some alumni who's now working in some companies are kept track and they are called up as guest lecturers to share their experiences with students

After completing my diploma with 80% of marks, I applied for a the Maharashtra BE/ BTech mert list rounds. I applied for some colleges in the list, where Zeal College Of Engineering was one of them. I was allocated with AISSMS on the first round. Then MMCOE on the second. And thirdly I was allocated with Zeal College on third round. The admission process was then continued in college itself after the list got frozen in third round. The college confirmed the admission on their side and the documentation was completed

All the facilities in this college are well educated. Some of them are Doctorate completed, while some of them currently are pursuing it. We'll trained and staff with lot of experience. The strictness sometimes gets too much in terms of attandance, uniform etc, but then in terms of curriculum no problem with faculties.
