Overall Review

The college gives a good opportunity to all types of students to make their carrer. However, placement and industrial exposure needs to be improved. Guest lectures from industry experts should be done.

Course Structure is designed such that all types of students including meritorious and an average student can clear the exams. Labs are good equipped with lot of technical equipments and a student having interest in technical equipments gets an opportunity to learn. Overall exams and labs does not make one's day hectic. It will be chilled till one does some work everyday.

Overall the placement varies from course to course. B.Tech CSE branch placement is currently the best with approx. 70% placement. Core branches have 10% placement. However, if core branch students compromise with the job field then placement is approx. 50% where core branches students get an opportunity to join IT, marketing or BPO companies.

Various Technical events including quiz, presentation, seminar, etc. are held in association with organisation such as IEEE, ISTE. Project Carnival is also held which gives an opportunity to get selected by Faridabad Industrial Association to display the project at State Level. Workshop is held in association with industries such as Mitsubishi Electric, Su-Kam, etc. Cultural events including Annual Fest is held.

Fee Structure is expensive. Fees structure changes for every new batch. Updated fee structure can be obtained for College website. Hostle fees increases every year irrespective of the batch. Moreover Non AC hostels are in limited nos. so preference is given to First year students for Non AC hostels. After first year Non AC students have to either shift to very expensive AC hostel or look for their own alternative.

Scholarship is available for 2-3 meritorious students. Updated Criteria for scholarships can be checked on college website. Loan can be availed by personal effort and conditions of the bank. College does not offer any loan.

Gender Ratio varies from course to course. Overall gender ratio is 5:1. Student/Dorm parties are organised occasionally by certain group of students. There is complete Diversity and Tolerance with regard to Gender, Ethnicity, Race, Religion, Sexual Orientation, Politics and Economic Status

Hostel Infrastructure is good. Non AC rooms with option of 2 seater and 4 seater is available. 4 seater rooms are very large with separate Almirah, Table and chair for each resident. 10-12 Common bathroom is available at each floor in Non AC hostel. AC hostel/room has the option of only 2 seater with attached bathroom. However a single bathroom is attached with two rooms. Food is very good. 1 time snack and three times food is given including milk.

Alumni network is weak. College does have an alumni platform but it is poorly managed. Senior and alumni interaction should be organised by the college so that students can get an idea of after college life.

Interest towards electrical and electronics branch made me to choose the course. The admission process is simple. Only Intermediate with Science (as per criteria set by AICTE) is required for admission in B.Tech. Online form is required to be filled and a date will be given for physical document verification.

Faculties are qualified but most of the faculties lack practical and industrial exposure. The faculties explain the things as per the books but most of them are not aware of real technology used in industries.
