College Review

The college managei was very good in my view. They were provided us with continues support.

The course is about learning financial aspects, the course designed by Calcutta University (CU) in three year full time course(1+1+1) system,again the course is two parts honours and general, honours is offered to qmerit students and general is for the rest of students. It is a research driven course, it helps us about learning current and past financial activiy in the whole world and thus gives us to create new opportunities for future accounting terminology.

It is not so famous college in the city and thus placement opportunities are very less in my college.

There are multiple s of events celebrated in our college, major of those are Basanta utsav- The event of colours where all students of college are gatherd and celebrate by colour ing themselves Annual Social meet- Annual Social meet were held every year by month of September or October in a special stadium. It was conducted by our college union. Famous singers like Arijit Singh, zibeen garg were came and entertained all of us by their soulful songs. Annual prize distribution was also conducted in that event.

It is feasible as it is a govt sponserd college. My admission fee was Rs.4500 and annual college fee Rs.300. C.u exam fee was Rs.360 per year. No,there were no additional charges that had to be paid to secure my admission in my knowledge. Yes, college had a transparency in the fee-brakdown.

As my higher secondary marks were very high so I had applied for a national scholarship named Jindal foundation. But somehow I haven't got that, they weren't published any merit list, later on I applied for an state scholarship and the eligibility criteria was for an Undergraduate student he or she has to pass higher secondary examination conducted by state level boards and secure at least 60 percent marks. The average sum of scholarship was Rs.1200

The college campus life was very awesome, the gender ratio was 1:1 and there were ver diversity in the college. The college union provide separate common rooms for both of boys and girls each. The college also conducts some sports named as inter college carrom competition, Annual spots meet etc

No, generally it is not so distant from my home. I used to go college by trains from my home to college. I have no yet lived in a hostel so I have no idea about hostels,PG etc. But some of my few were taken the availability of hostel as it was not possible for them to attent college from their home

Yes senior students were very helpful. They provided their experience in college with us to have us an exact idea about the social aspects in the college.

Firstly I have to be register myself on their college through their online website by providing my personal and academic details, then in some days they published a merit list on the basis of academic records, afterwords they conducted an seminer with new candidates and then I selected as a student in their college by paying admission fees.

The faculty's are very much friendly and open minded, There are total 6 classes held in a day, each class's having duration of 1 hour. The average age of the Teachers is about 34 and all of them are highly qualified holding the degree s like M.com,M.phil,p.hd etc Some of them are expert in maths while some of them are in accounting,economics etc any student can clear their doubts regarding any concept s by approaching the professor's.
