My College My Future

No i have mixed response about my college but if i have to select one then it's a positive response. I was very much impressed and satisfied with the faculties as they helped us in every possible manner.

The course is designed in a very technical manner and scientifically. It is specially designed by West Bengal University of Technology. The total duration of the course is 4 years and they have 8 semesters.

No our college does not provide internship but they help the students in every possible way to make the process easy but the college management does nothing. During out internship we did not get any stipend. And in our Placement IT companies were in majority which were Wipro, TCS, Infosys.

FIEM has many clubs and the clubs are very active but the only difficulty that we faced as a student is fund shortage. We had cultural festival and technical festival once in every year but we arranged them from various sponsors.

The couse fee structure is feasible. We had to pay around Rupees four lakhs which had to be paid in four years in eight instalments. So we had to pay around Rs 50,000 in eash instalment and it eas easier for us to pay the amount.

No our college did not offer us any scholarship facility. But we had a facility of instalments where we had to pay the whole amount within four years in 8 instalments. Otherwise we were not given any loan facility.

While studying in FIEM we had many events and games during our glorious four years. We used to have gaming tournaments. The most attractive part was the football and cricket tournament where the students used to play against the faculties. This was a very interesting part.

No FIEM never had any hostel facility. The students had to arrange the hostels for themselves. Though there were many hostels available in the neighborhood and the hostels were available easily so it was not a problem. The only thing that lacked was proper food quality nand security in the hostels. And i did not opt for any hostel.

Our alumni network is not that strong as we did not get any help from senior students. But after we passed out we are trying to form a strong Alumni network so that out juniors doesn't face the same problem that we faced.

I gave West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) in 2014 and then in second list i had my name. After i noticed that i got chance to be a part of FIEM, I did not need to give a second thought. I went for it to give it a shot. Now FIEM is one of the most reluted private Engineering college of West Bengal and has a good infrastructure. It was totally online and just had to go there to complete the formalities required for taking admission.

The faculty of my college is very helpful and they are always ready to make the students comfortable. They are always ready to help us. The classes were regular and of 40 minutes duration. The professors helped us in contacting the companies for our internships and make the process very easy for the students which can be very complicated for a student to arrange an internship from a reputed company.
