Remarks

Overall affordable Positive vibes Culture is nice Good interactive crowd The remarks apart from this are the city is not so attractive. So students really don’t get much leisure activities. The evenings are quite good tho inside the campus. But girls usually get frustrated due to timing issues.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We usually have a nice chilled out day, there is not more than one lab and 3 lectures in a day. Sometimes there is a big vap between classes and it sometimes gets hectic. The Exams take place in May and December for even and odd semesters respectively.

Placement Experience

3

You have to undergo two one month internships after 2nd and 3rd year for 4 year courses. The placement cell is okish. You might get placed if you have an excellent track record in all the semesters. Or if you belong to Computer Science or Electronics or Mechanical department

College Events

2

The college celebrates a cultural fest called Rhythm. It includes theatre, dance star night etc. Technical fests also take place once or twice an year but the participation is nominal. Students take part in robotics as well as automobile during tech fests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible for almost everyone. Anyone from any category can get an education in this university, its around 45000 Pa for B.tech and around 15000 for B.Sc courses. Even MBA here doesn’t cost you much. For other categories like SC,ST and whose family income is less than a certain amount get additional waivers.

Fees and Financial Aid

facility of loan is not offered usually. Scholarships are given on the basis of GPA of each semester and to some financially no feasible students. Scholarships usually are handled and given on time and students face no such problems regarding money.

Campus Life

2.5

Labs are quite knowledgeable, sports has a great infrastructure. I myself play Basketball. Be it athletics, badminton, lawn tennis or any sports you say. Some students bag position in the AIU competitions also. And there’s a huge track for athletes.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I have not opted for hostel. But yeah, the hostels for boys are really chill, Rooms are not that good, but the environment is safe. For girls, they cannot go out after 7 pm which is a little disturbing. For boys, absolutely no timing.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are helpful usually. Alumni don’t visit much often. Seniors sometimes help students complete the attendance or help in preparation for a particular tough examination. If you have joined a particular cultural society, then you would find great help from the seniors.

Admission

You have to pass Jee mains to get admission in B.tech or B.arch. For courses like B.Sc you have to provide class 12 Board marks. I did chose this college since its a state government college with less crowd in each stream, hence not the race of always being on top.

Faculty

3

Every teacher is atleast a PHD or pursuing currently. The Professors are qualified and good. But attendance is mandatory which sometimes becomes an issue for students otherwise, the teachers are Quite well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am in the computer science and engineering branch. I want to be a software developer and I am passionate about coding and I love to code that's why I am chosen this branch. The faculty members of my college are awesome and helpful. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. They cooperate with students in every situation . they focus much on the weak student so they can also pass the exam. they use the blackboard and smart classes both to teach the student effectively. we have industrial exposure also. the well built spacious will have no importance if not for the wonderful faculty the college has. All are faculty members are highly knowledgeable and done their post graduation from one of the top colleges like IITS. and most of the teachers are GATE qualified and even it is not once. they are writing the exam regularly. so, if you prepare for the GATE exam, then you can get great help from them. they used to prepare us for the GATE exam, along with academics

Remarks:

I am a Delhite and my college is on outskirts of Delhi and also i being residing near du north campus used to think i will enjoy the same college life. but being into a professional (b.tech) course gave me a different view of college and its life. i came to know how to lead a professional ethic life, learnt some good meaningful things.college management is getting strict day by day for laws against students but the other tasks like things that need to be get done from peon are not getting done. ac's dont work even after complaints. in total the college needs a great improvement else it will keep running the business with no fruits.
