Oxford of the east

Despite of the ups and downs this college has seen and is standing on its glory is something called the best of the management only.The only thing i will say about the college is that you were the oxford of the east and the world and the country has forgotten your glory but you are always there for students,you made human kinds,you made a student a educated and kind person.Thankyou. Basically all the courses are 3 year degree courses.Normally 5 to 6 books are there to read amd all the things will be taught to you in the classroom and syllabus gets completed in month of February for 1st year,in january for 2nd year,in December for 3 rd year. 1)There is a sentup test which you have to pass compulsory and must have minimum attendance 75 percent. 2)after you passed sent up test you will be given forms which costs about rs 30 from the college on a particular date and given a month of time to fill it and submit it to the respective department.after the HOD signs your form and your forms get to the next stage where you get challan and your form to proceed for payment(allahabad bank in campus). 3)pay the examination fee submit the form and challan to requisite place and get a receipt. 4)admit card will be given to you before one week of examination. The centers of the examination are nearby colleges like patna college,BN college and examination are strict and no cheating is acceptable.examination is completely fair.Strict actions are taken if you are found with cheating materials in exams. In all departments seminars,quiz competitions essay writing competition is held periodically.In Geology a visit to geological places for all students are provided for practical learning and understanding.In physics,chemistry,zoology,botany,EVS, Biotechnology,BCA etc practical knowledge is influenced more along with theoretical bases. Industrial visits is provided for the BCA /vocational subjects which helps them in placements.

Placements for traditional courses are poor in every college including mine also but placements for the vocational course are there every year.Companies like TCS,Tisco are among the few which i remember.Approx 30-35 percent students are placed from vocational courses.Patna science college always strives to give you a practical knowledge and a deeper knowledge of the subject along with application and uses in day to day life. personality development, communication skills and practical knowledge are emphasized for students so that can do well in placement drives.

A list of events occurs in patna science college including cultural,sports,events,fests etc. Cultural: 1)Freshers and farewell parties 2) Republic day and independence day 3)science day,earth day,water day,maths day and events on the DOB of famous scientists and freedom fighters. 4)Saraswati pooja in all the hostels of college.The most remarkable and grand and prestigious one. 5)Musical and dance nights for the students every year for which artists are invited. Technical: Workshops and internships for all the interested events. Sports: Annual sports day every year in which all sports like carrom,javelin,shotput, badminton,football,volleyball,kabaddi,table tennis,racing,chess,cricket are held for a week. Every sports is held for selection of students according to academic calender. Management festivals: Saraswati pooja Freahers and farewell Seminars Quiz competition Open mic.

The most feasible fee structure all over india.This college is government based and costs 4000 for a year and free education for girls and SC and STs. This is the most feasible college all over india.No one gives free education to girls however they boasts of women empowerment but our college do it. An examination fee and a registration fee is taken (discounted based on categories).

Scholarship opportunities are properly given to students of the college. 1)inspire scholarship For student having 1st division in 12th in Bihar board and must be among 1st division in 1st year.A scholarship of 120000rs ia given to such students 2)for backward classes For SC,ST students free education and a scholarship (amount varies) is given to such students. 3)internships A amount of 10000rs along with Traveling allowance is given to such students going for internship to kolkata,iits etc. And many more which i am discovering now also.

Campus life is awesome.meeting new persons from different backgrounds, different mindsets help you grow a mutual understanding and a developed mind. Gender ratio in my course is not ok as most girls are poor in maths.but in the other subjects its like perfect.the gender ratio of college is very excellent.There are a list of extra curricular activities sports,quiz,seminar, workshops occur which i have discussed in a question of this survey only read it for better insight.Quiz competitions,essay writing,seminars,poetry wirting,essay writing and money more are something which have a next level competition which develps you in a real way.Sorry in science college there is no course like robotics.oops.

Yes i have opted for hostels,the rooms are single seater,double seater and multi seater based upon your marks.every student who fills the form approx gets the hostel.The toppers are given Faraday house then Cavendish house then Newton house,CV raman hostel and then Ramanujan.All students are given a bed,a table,a chair,a stool,a cupboard,a book stand.Rooms are adequately large for single,double and multi seater ones.Condition of rooms are very good. a minimal hostel fees(all over india) is taken.Hostel also provide cultural,sports,inter hostel tournaments,free wifi and free electricity for all.Sections are divided for respective year students and the student (of 3rd year)who have scored the highest among all is given the responsibility by hostel superintendent to handle the hostel for a year and a certificate is given for this.

College seniors are the most helpful ones in college and hostels.they will help you in studies and whenever you are struck under a problem they will stand always for you.Alumni meet happens every year in our college and famous alumnis are there like CM Nitish kumar,JP nadda,sushil kumar modi and many more IAS,IPS.If you have to go to any other state for xams or anything and you dont know about the city where to live where to go,contact the senior living in that state,he will take you to home and help you in the beat possible way.He will take care of your living,your food and your travel.Seniors are the best This month i met a senior of my hostel which is senior scientist in BHABHA wow!.such a strong and effective alumni connection is there.Alumnis are Very much helpful.

Maths is favourite subject of mine thats why opted for maths honors. Factors which helped: 1)Best professors are there for you 2)Nearby my house 3)Its history of being the oxford of the east 4)Cultural,sports, political events,exhibitions,student union teaches you a variety of things. 5)Meet variety of students from different social backgrounds. 6)Hostels are the best. Admission procedure: 1)Forms are released online/offline in month of april (first week) 2)entrance xams occurs in month of june(first week) 3)results are announced in last week of june and date of counselling are announced on the basis of no.of marks and caste(1st week of july). 4)Induction meet happens between 11-15 july. 5)Classes starts on 17th of july.

The no.of lecturers is sufficient for all the courses(in my course 6 -7professors was there including KC SINHA).ALL the professors are of approximately 45-50 years of age and qualifications are the beast in them.some professors have done double hons,msc from london and the oldest are the phd holders.Do google about KC sinha (our favourite teacher and principal of science college)you will get the hierarchy of qualifications of peofessors in our course.ALL professors teaches in a simple way and a perfect teaching methodology was in them which they used to teach us in science college.I have told na google about prof Dr KC sinha you will get all your answers.Some of the professors have more than 45 years of teaching experience.(Prof Dr SP ray,prof Dr LN roy).One professor is there which have done internships in japan and taken many classes in foreign and in india also like BHU.
