Jain College Review

The Jain College is one of the best college in the state. Students should opt this college for higher studies.

The Bcom is divided into 3 years and 6 semester. In each semester you have to give 2 internal test and 2 activity. From these 2 best one will be selected. At the end on semester there will be one external exam on 70 marks. And total internal marks are 30.

Jain College is known for placement in the state. I am presently doing internship from the college in a good company.

There are a lot of forums in the college like sports, student, cultural, kannada, hindi, NSS and NCC. During the year they organise a lot of events which makes the college life more fun and interesting. More over the college organise Asia's biggest marathon MY COUNTRY RUN and people all around the world participate.

The college fee in anyhow bit expensive. For me its 130000. But the facility they provide attracted me to join the college. We can pay the fee in two installment. In first installment we have to pay 70% and in second 30% of total fee. They also provide scholarship on a regular basis.

Yes I have got one scholarship from college for my academic performance. This helps the students to do well in studies. The colltalso provide good scholarship for sports students.

The girls and boys ratio in the college os almost same. The college always encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities like sports, debate, painting, social activities etc. College also organise workshops on different evnts. Students also here encouraged for entrepreneur works.

The college has tied up with Student Community for hostel. The hostel charges are high but the facility they provide are the best. Rooms are good with best furnishings, food is given according to student choice. But the hostel provide veg food as it is a jain college.

The Jain College has good link with its alumni students. They have a Alumni Association which take part in all college events. These alumni are always there to help the students and college.

First I had to write one common test which consist of gk, current affairs, subject related and common topics. The result of the test will be declared on same day. Next day there will be group discussion and personal interview. Both were easy as teachers are too friendly.

Faculty in the college are experienced. They have selection procedure to select best teacher which helps the college to get best teachers. Teacher always give examples of present scenario to understand the topics which helps the students for better understanding.
